My second favorite place to visit. The Sky Bar gourmet pizza at the Crescent Hotel is pretty dang good too. It is definitely a walking town with lots of up and down, but so much to see. Many interesting things in the surrounding area too.
I was born in Arkansas and never left. Eureka Springs is truly a magical place and I've loved it since I was a kid. If you've never been you should go there, it's awesome!👍
It is such a great community to visit!!! So many festivals and events... beautiful rolling mountains and hills and depending on what season you visit you never know what you might find!!
What a cool city. Love small towns like that and also the history.....but stairs and more stairs ..... yes you did get in you exercise!! hugs and travel safe
@@BunnyPlaysHere About the only thing missing from the ambiance is the ocean. There are downtown Monterey walk-thru videos like yours... sample the feel. I live in AR now, I hope to visit Eureka Springs in person soon.
Eureka was once a noted Viking Village back in the day when I was there visiting many times......blondes and blue eyes everywhere back in the day. I was there in the late 60's to 71/72 years. You have to be a very good driver able to drive 15 to 20 mph and able to maneuver the very very tight corners...and yessss....it sounds like you're eating Viking Food?
One of my favorite places in Arkansas....WHITE ROCK campgrounds is a place to go! This NJ girl will never move back East. LOVE the Ozarks. Looking for forever home in southwest Missouri
Just down the road from us here in Branson. Enjoyed seeing your perspective. Never been to the Basin Hotel. Might have to take the wife to have dinner.
nope.. i have been coming to Eureka Springs since I was a kiddo, I have photos of me at the shows when they used to have the shows here in the 80s and 90s....lol... it is nice to revisit and see the town in its form now.. i love how nice everyone is and they have some incredible art and history here
A good friend of mine took me there a few months ago and we had an awesome time. We stayed two nights in the haunted hotel did the tour it was so creepy. We also ate at the basin Park Hotel and it was an excellent meal. I had a virgin bloody Mary and it was amazing. I cannot wait to go back. They have a really good music festival. I think every January.🎉❤
That sounds like an excellent stop in Eureka!!! You have to take the trolly around the historic loop during your next visit it shows you where several of the springs are!!!
I worked at the Crescent Hotel, it’s not haunted they just want your money from the ghost tour. If someone never told you that it was haunted, would you still see ghosts there??
I recommend these places to eat, hamburgers Sparky's Roadhouse Cafe, Fresh Pasta fine dining DeVitos of Eureka Springs, People watching with good food Basin Balcony, Breakfast Mud Street Cafe (amazing decor), BBQ Bubba's BBQ (oh my, delish), Stop and Take a Load off and eat Main Street Cafe, Rustic Out of the way Gaskins Cabin Steakhouse, Drinks, wines upscale Grand Taverne, Traditional True Italian food Emilio's and fancy brunch Crescent Hotel Sunday Brunch (the hotel is historic, beautiful and haunted). There are many, many others but these are long term established places. Eating in Eureka Springs is an adventure on it's own. Luv ya, love your channel❣️ 🍽️🍔🥩🥔🥗🥪🍝🍳🥐🥞🍷🍹🍾☕🫖🥤
The last two times I’ve tried to go to Mount Magazine. The weather has not cooperated and it’s been super foggy so I have not so I’ve reserved that one and the other for another trip.
Yes, they have numerous parking areas that have different prices this particular one however that is the price. I mentioned previously there are other parking spaces that are free in town also that you can park in and then ride the trolley.
Hello. I love this video. I work at the Basin Park Spa 1905. On the 2nd floor of the hotel. I live here in Eureka Springs for 14 years and I love it. I have the famous potbelly pigs here. Fatboy and Miss Piggy are their names. Next time I'd love for you to come by and meet them. Check us out under Eureka Springs potbelly pigs. Fatboy loves all the attention, Miss Piggy not so much. Lol.

One of my favorite places, in fact, my husband and I got married there! Cool place and good to see it from your perspective.
Have enjoyed all of your videos of Eureka Springs. Onyx cave is one of my kids favorite because of the caveman.
I remember visiting when I was a kid and it made me go back last year for that same reason!!

Juanita from East Texas. Have you ever been to Mount Magazine or Petite Jean State Park?
The last two times I’ve tried to go to Mount Magazine. The weather has not cooperated and it’s been super foggy so I have not so I’ve reserved that one and the other for another trip.
$40 a day to park? The bigger lots down Main Street east of Mud St Cafe are typically $5 for 4 hours.

Looks like a nightmare for those of us with mobility challenges.
it is a bit harder for those who have a harder time getting around you have to take the round about way to get from some streets to others
