@@franky_the_bossfaithful to the original. If the guy was expecting somekind of visual fireworks or graphics similar to currentl AAA games he must be quite disappointed
I’m liking it. But I think it’s a bit dark in some parts so I switch to the old graphics 😂
How I remember it, but BETTER. I’m so glad they kept the classic sound FX in there
6:40 i'll never be able to put into word how meaningful this music is to me... it resumes my whole childhood and as soon as i hear it i have the urge to cry and i could listen to it all day, i'm 25 now but the first time i played and heard it i was just a 3 years old kiddo but i'll never get over it, it's such a magical but kinda sad/nostalgic feeling that invades my chest. i can't wait to play it on the remaster version on February 14th and maybe be able to travel in time and experience it like it's the first time. Thank u for posting the gameplay, thank you Tomb Raider, thank YOU, Lara Croft!

So, you know the area where the green dragon secret is? When I was a kid, I noticed there was a closed door in that area, and I spent hours looking all over level 2 to find a way to open that door. It wasn't until I became a teenager that I realized...that's just a door you can't go into. Just for show, but man it really bothered me as kid. I'm like, why the heck can't I open this door? What's behind here? Med packs? A new gun? Lol
I have had the exact same feeling. The desing of the door is different than any other door to trigger your curiosity. I think it is intended by the game designers

2:46 I used to try to park the boat right outside this door so I could dive right into it lol she would land seated in the boat. It was tricky but very satisfying when it would work.

Venice is the best level in Tomb Raider 2 in my opinion, epic music and you get to drive a boat! 😃

I wish that Lara could use often melee weapons, such as a steel pipe, knife and masamune sword (like the ones from Final Fight arcade).
I spent days trying to get past the mines in Venice just to find out I need you to get the other boat and I am irritated at LOL but now I know how to finish the game

Ah jeez for some reason one of the gates has closed again for the short cut out of the Venice level and I have no idea where the switch was.
Video games ALWAYS had too much violins.
what key did u used to get off the boat ? (playing pc mode)
On classic controls it's jump + A or D. I didn't manage to figure out how to do it with modern controls
With modern controls it's the jump button plus either left or right on the stick/D pad
For me, this is where the entire series started to go downhill. After a great opening level, we get too many human enemies, vehicles, and.... no tombs to raid. TR2 was good, but it unfortunately also started all of the worst trends that helped kill the franchise.
