Hey, pretty much exactly one year after you posted this video, I contacted John & he's doing a hollow grind on my Archbishop 3.0 just like you had yours done. So thanks for the idea for it! Can't remember if I already posted a comment about this on another of your videos, so here's one/another! haha
Anyway, from what I've seen of your regrind & others here on UA-cam, it looks like BGM Knives is the way to go with regrinds! And for only $60 with a roughly one week turnaround? Heck yeah! Thanks for the idea, Jerad! :o)

Hey man, what is your opinion on getting a hollow grind put onto the EMP Nymble. Now that you have seen it in hand i figured i ask you. Its kinda got thick blade stock but with a hollow on it i could i could skin my grapes.
Yeah it would probably work perfectly on that, I imagine it would be a great platform for him as well
All hand grinds. Really, from 18 at the tip to 15 at the choil is great, Thinnest in the center could be a surprise benefit! Considering sending some knives his way for sure

I'd like deep hollow Grind on some Twosuns. Like the 162, 129, 140 bowhead, 49, and maybe 301. Not sure of some of these are already too thin.
The 162 is Def already too thin, it at its highest potential of slicey especially with a good edge. The 49 would do great though
Loving the sharpening angle pen marks on the fingers/thumb. 🤣
What do you think about a regrind on a pm2 tanto?
Could the overall blade stock thinned out so it weighs less?
Would that improve the kinda chunky cutting performance?
It would definitely improve the performance but I'm not sure if he would be able to do a tanto or not
Are tantos an issue with regrinds? I was also thinking about getting a Recon 1 tanto touched up
