Kubey used to be a lot better, but their QC seems to have become just so-so in the past year. Won't buy karambits ever, so easy pass on those. The Kizer knives are always a solid bet. I've only received on of their knives that I had an issue with. That being the Begleiter 2 have a bad/super strong detent, but have three of the original Begleiters, and they were all well tuned.
Might hit these sales that critical mini is a great price but I gotta figure out my funds after hitting up your site for that launch 18 I can’t wait to get it in hand I’ve never owned an auto before
Definatly not an ultem fan, I know it comes in 2 colors but I much prefer micarta over it. The JWK are nice but I'm not that big into slipjoints to spend the money on one. Kizer has some great sales going on, excellent knives and the Escort has the best cross bar lock action I have ever felt. CJRB Pyrite is definatly a candidate for budget button lock knife of the year. Thanks for the great vid and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.

Jared has a video from maybe 2-3 years ago going through a long list of steels and his preference as far as grit. I don't recall the exact title, but something along the lines of "what grit for what steel", I'm sure you'll be able to find it with that search. Not every steel ever, of course, but a great list with good info.

Never understood why knife makers make slip joints with neither pocket clips nor lanyard holes. Not having either makes it a pocket tumbler. Just do one or the other or both.

That mini critical in 3v is fantastic! (Unfortunately i paid 100) but this kills the benchmade immunity alllllll day long at that price even

No actually many do very well with a polish, cruwear, k390, CTSXHP, m390, magnacut, and more do well with a polished edge or better
