as a dji owner I feel bad to say this: for the water test, throw the water into the vents into the motherboard, and that might do the water test.
you should see what happens at about 60 ft in the air to the drone. or a simulated bird strike at 100ft plus.
I find this very hard to believe. My mini 4 dropped less than 5 feet while hovering and broke an arm completely off.
I must say, i was surprised this time too. But many such cases in my previous video though

My mini 3 Pro would get a "Stuck Gimble" message just looking at a tree, let alone hitting one.
Bro I just got mine mini 4 pro yesterday and crashed it the same day into a palm tree and it fell about 60 ft straight down to concrete. Propellers got chewed up a bit but it still flies and works! Just had to recalibrate lol maybe because it was dark the obstacle avoidance didn’t work
So glad I found this video as I'm going to use it to further my case with DJI. My mini 4 went into a forced landing and came down on some logs that were laying on the ground. The body is smashed, camera and gimble also smashed. A ll beyond repair yet DJI say the drone was functioning perfectly. Clearly not.
because it sounds like a lie, ive never broken so much on a fullspeed high altitude crash much less a automatic landing. and yes they can tell...thats why you got rejected
Honestly, I would’ve rather have watched you trying to crash it with its obstacle avoidance on take it down trails and see how far you can go without crashing it naturally

I remembered my dji mini4 drone that fell into the sea 50ft deep and then 5 days before I got it, the gimbal was broken and can't be fixed again because the mother board is also broken.
So if it rains a bit its okay?
Now I know. I could make bread while using my drone.

The biggest problem i see on dji drones is they dont really have those prop protection things, whatever they are called. now correct me if im wrong, i never owned a dji drone but.. isnt that a bit dangerous to the blades?
Blades are cheap and you should consider them consumables.

I think because of the top sensor, not sure. Was very annoying for the video though, I remember only sideway movement on the Mini 3 Pro
@@Unfilterd yes because mini3 only has front back sensors, so it avoids by side motion...the mini4 will evade obstacles by all directions and it seems like the climb is its first defense.

Exactly my thoughts. Maybe the water got in there and stayed there? Then qhen the powder hit it, it was a mix of that? Not sure. But with those direct hits on the gimbal too, would've at least thought it would break

Dji mini 3 pro sahibiyim amazondan aldım. intelligent flight modes da uçarken dala çarptı sensorler işe yaramadı, drone ters dondu yerde hala çalışıyordu. Durması gerekiyordu. Durduramadım ve elimi parcaladı. Şuanda Gimbal sıkıştı arızası verdi. Sadece gimbal değişimi için 18.000 TL istiyorlar. Pervane seti için 1000 TL. Drone kendisi zaten 33.000 Tl Şuanda. Kullanılan malzemeler cihaz hafif olsun diye çok kırılgan. Çok paranız varsa alın yoksa almayın üzülürsünüz. Pervane değişirken bile vidalar cok kolay elimizde kalabiliyor. Dji mini 3 pro stripped screw diye aratırsanız internette sorun yaşayan yüzlerce kaynak bulabilirsiniz.

The sensors are bad at detecting kables/ropes.
Also, the drone can survive a 4 meter fall with some dmg to the blades and a small cut in the shell. 😅
Yeah same for tree branches, sensors aren't the best. Seems worse than mini 3 pro but not sure

@@kenmohler4081 some of them are. You do get drones which are classed as toys but holy stone have some which are above 249.
I have 5 holy stone drones and I’ve knocked them into concrete walls, fencing. You retrieve them and you look and you’re completely astonished just how little damage they take especially from concrete walls.
I think there biggest problem is the signal between the controller and the drone. Not on all but you do get where your phone is connected and the drone just won’t go the way you want it. But when you take the phone off the controller and place it away from you, the drone works fine which sought of defeats the purpose of having a camera on your controller.
