- In this episode on the Minecraft Secret Life SMP, Mumbo joins Pearl in a tower building competition with GeminiTay and Grian. The resulting build might be the worst thing ever constructed. Mumbo also helps Smallishbeans make an industrial Minecraft XP farm.

Theoretically you should be the winner automatically being the longest on episodes
Mumbo having a breakdown over his tower was so funny, considering he already completed his task. He was genuinely upset about building a horrible tower and losing XD
Agreed, that was hilarious. I will point out, however, winning three times was only part of the task. He still had to spend the rest of the session turning every collaborative effort into a competition, win or lose, for the task to be complete; and if he doesn't care about losing, one could argue that it wasn't really a competition.

I wouldn't say they were in tandem last session, aside from Grian chasing Mumbo while singing, although it was a reversal from session one where Grian unintentionally helped Mumbo succeed his task, with Mumbo unintentionally helping Grian succeed his.
I love this "bound by fate" connection between grian and mumbo

Having watched Pearls and Cleo's POVs first, I must say that at the same time I did not think Mumbo's Tower Competition was suspicious, but also that it makes much more sense now.

That tower went through some interesting stages 😂 and hearing that scar just walked up and called it thick before leaving had me dying.

Mumbo is absolutely unhinged and unleashed this season. He's always entertaining but I can't remember laughing this constantly throughout entire episodes. You're absolutely killing it!!

Mumbo throwing a tantrum after dying to Gem’s base is perhaps one of the most adorable things I’ve seen a UA-camr do.
The tower competition really reminded me of season 6 and the build-off in Hermitville.

It's as if the Southlands were more united. I can't explain it. They've got the same vibes but this somehow feels like a more coherent group in my opinion, even though every member is _so_ different in personality.

I like the Mumbo-Gem dynamics in these vids, they make for some good shenanigans when they meet.
It's like they each have their own wholesomeness. Gem's has a comfy vibe, and Mumbo's has more of an innocent vibe. Put em together for a perfect blend 👌🏻

check out the last life series. it was the second iteration of this that they did and was imo the best one. I like all of them though

you have to adapt another lifer's personality for the entire session, if someone points out that you're acting like that certain person, you then have to take on the personality of the person who pointed it out (excluding yellows who successfully guessed the task)

After seeing Mumbo's death message in other videos I kept expecting him to fail when he jumped off something into water, so it was hilarious when he just walked off a cliff because he thought it was stairs.
i think what would really add to this series is displaying everyones task in a quick overview at the end of each episode.
i love secret life! the series that's been going on for 6 weeks, and totally has 6 episodes. i loved Mumbo's 5th episode, but that was a week ago, right? :D
