- This is a live video cover of The Beatles hit song "Because" performed by The Bangles! ❤️ This was recorded at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles, California on the 1st of March 2014! ❤️ This was a benefit concert The Bangles took part in for the Autism Think Tank & Children's Music Fund! ❤️ I Hope y'all like it ❤️ All credit goes to Wild Honey Videos! ❤️
One of the many, many, many masterpieces by the great John Lennon.
RIP.
Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱.
One of the most beautiful songs .. in all of history.
It was based on Beethoves "Moonlight Sonata" where each cord were played backwards. (And added some extra things) 🤷♂️🤓
These girls can really sing , and they have for many years. I like the Bangles . Nice harmonies, A very hard song to do !! Well done girls .
Simplest words but most profound. If there's a pound-for-pound best song, this is it.
Agree.
Vientos!!! Bangles por esta excelente " por que " de mis queridos fab four muy bien por uds.
The Bangles harmonies are so beautiful.. They can habge with the best, Beatles, CSN&Y, Yardbirds, Beach Boys, Mamas & Papas. You lovely ladies, your voices meld together like the best sauce on Sunday Pasta. Rock On Bangles
There's three other people singing.
They still sound so great together. I sense at least two more major hits for them and know that they will make the Rock Hall Of Fame.
I LOVE these gals ....
but honestly, the "Rock Hall of Fame" doesn't mean a thing anymore, they've really lost the plot.
Bangles are fine without it, it's just another tv show.
Beautifully done! The Boys would have loved to hear this
Learning about the "real" Bangles from UA-cam. They were much deeper than I and many others realized. Beautiful and artistic songs/ recordings and performances. Especially getting into the very exra talented Susanna and Michael. Two fascinating creators who keep on going and going. Vicki and Debbi Peterson, aren't so bad either.
Never underestimate Vicki Peterson. If you listen to their first album "All Over The Place", the majority of the songs are written by Vicki, or in collaboration with Susanna Hoffs. And that was their rocker era, before the pop sound of "Different Light".
She's a solid songwriter.
What, what a Beautiful Cover by the Beatles in Voices of BANGLES!!
is Beautiful! all musicians and BANGLES! Great!
...Love is all love is you... Love is all Love is BANGLES!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Very nice. You can hear those Beatles influences in the harmonies and chords in all their songs.
love is old , love is new. love is all, love is you.
Such a great rendition.
Thank you ladies for keeping the dream alive...Peace & Love.
Just watched/heard this for the first time. It is now one of my favorite songs!
Thank you for sharing a little bit of your life, making many people happy.
Such a mystifying rendition! Great to see and hear this really inspiring piece 🖖
A Baroque Masterpiece
Nein or ten -Herr Beethoven again
Smashingly fab!!! The Fabs would approve!
Beautiful rendition! Something is noteworthy about groups playing Beatle music. The original songs are so perfect they're virtually sacrosanct. No need to change or embellish them.
Me encanto.
Thanks Girls.!
The Beatles - The Bangles in my heart.
Gracias por compartir esto.
Marvellous ...
the most beautiful cover song ever darling.
BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man, if John, Paul, George & Ringo were all alive now, they could've pulled this off easily sometime already. Anyway, great job ladies.
Really FRICKEN GREAT !!! Perfect !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The world turns - me on
The wind blows - my mind
The blue sky makes me cry
Amazing songwriting
Took me like 35 years of living this song before realized what was going on with the lyrics. I always just thought they were a bunch of nonsensical non sequiturs.
Like, why would the world being round turn me on? Why would the wind being high blow my mind? Why would this sky being blue make me cry? Makes no goddam sense… 🤔
Good to see Darian and Nelson from Brian Wilson's band cranking it out.
best cover song ever
For some reason I thought this was going to be a Dave Clark Five cover lol. I should have known it would be Beatles!
I would have loved to hear the Bangles cover "Beause" by the Dave Clark Five. It's a much more melodic song.
Soy un fan de The Bangles desde siempre!! Ojalá y vengan a mi ciudad "Lima - Perú" algún dia *_*
Love this song !
Nice take.....
Wow !!
The guys in the back need to shut up; the 3 ladies can handle the vocals!
Wow wow wow that's wonderful! They could have made an album of Beatles songs - had they wanted to...
and i'm in love with Susanna Hoffs.
i am a seer and completely in love with Susanna,Debbi and the whole crue
Your bisexual? Just wondering since your inlove with whole crew
Very good well done.
Fantástico!! Í love Susanna!!
John is smiling on them right now.
Really nice cover.
I N F I N I T Y B E A T L E S
my little honey on the right beat Susanna in vocals. she was totally into it.
Now it's time for Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr to sing "Eternal Flame."
This is a Lennon song 😭
@@bogarbill6331 He's not available. I'm sure he'd be happy to let his mates fill in on his behalf.
Why?
@@bogarbill6331It'd be difficult for Lennon to sing now, considering he's dead.
molto bello !
i love debbi
this song is dedicated to the girl i love.
Love Vicki, Debbi, and Susanna. Miss Michael.
But who are those ugly Bangles in the background?
Like and Like and Like!
Almost any lyrics could have worked with a song with this much atmosphere.
i love suzy.
This sounds so passive and without any vocal dynamics that it just about puts me to sleep. I couldn't finish listening to it.
i'm i n love with debbi peterson
Hey, does anyone know what the model of that bass is?
debbi made this one work
All the cops in the 🍩 shop say,
HAPPY 🎂 , Susanna Lee Hoffs.
Live Long and Prosper.
Nice rendition of a great song. Too bad the mix wasn't better. Live music id tough to get right.
debbi make this happen!
vicki? dominates the vocals
No there's 4 men overpowering their voices
women will rule this world and I'm in love with them.
From John Lennon, the greatest Beatle!
Really?
i can see into the future. women will rule.
or is it debby? the one on the right
robbie sharef in the background ...
I like. But where did Vicki get "y'all" ? She always says "y'all" Do folks from LA talk Southern now?
Beyond_the_Infinite after the bangles broke up, she moved to the cooler LA (Louisiana) and joined the continental drifters.
banglebabe1 Thank you. I did not know that....and you are a babe.
vicki kicked susanna's ass on this one
Very good, but why Beatles? Your rock is awesome. Please, more of your own - ron d
Ron Dameron Sometimes you get sick of doing your own songs
BILL MURRAY I got you Bill, our favorites may not be theirs.
This was BEATLES oriented event, that's why.
The albums Revolver and Abbey Road were done in their entirety.
I would love to see the Bangles do many more Beatles' songs such as: I Call Your Name, She Said She Said, Sexy Sadie and Blue Jay Way.
I love the bangles but my girlfriend more. I have a group called "The bangles fan group if you want to join it.
Facebook group? I would too if they're many people who join in your group
Fálta Micki👉😥
wish you were my wife darling.
i love debby but my girlfriend more in case she reads this.
Seven vocalists neede to create this sound? Really??
there are overdubs on the record.
Not at all sure who the 4 men are adding vocal support behind and to the right of Vicki Peterson. They MUST BE old 60s or 70s dudes. Sad that they couldn't have left *all* the vocal work to The Bangles. This "muscling in" of the guys ruins the clip for me.
Me too. Its hard to distinguish the Bangles voices with the dudes singing.
some info for you: www.latimes.com/entertainment/music/la-xpm-2014-feb-27-la-et-ms-beatles-revolver-abbey-road-live-autism-benefit-20140227-story.html
The original song has all three parts recorded in triplicate to give it the depth you hear. It wouldn't have sounded right with only their voices.
the band of old dudes looks like Brian Wilson's band (Wondermints?). And it seems The Bangles are guesting on a show.
By the way (while we're being ageist 😉), do you know how old The Bangles are?
That looks like Derek Anderson, on bass .
Fabulous , except for the cheesy synth at the very end.
I find myself losing interest in the 'post-Steele' era offerings, sorry.
❤❤❤
