I think people often overlook rolling pins as a decor item. These are so eye catching you just want to show them off. Thanks for a great tutorial.
You are so welcome... thanks for tuning in! And... I think there are a lot of 'functional' items that can easily and readily become decor with a slightly different way of looking at them!
Great ideas!
Thanks for tuning in Carol... and for the positive feedback!

Hi Cindy, great job!!! Love all 3 of the rolling pins. I’m excited about trying each of the ones you did. I saw you commented on what brand of pens you used, could you please tell me which set it was, there are many different ones?. Thank you so much!!
I used Tombow watercolour pens (it's what I had on hand) but... better to seal lightly with a spray polycrylic before any wax or brushed on sealer so they don't 'bleed'.
Thank you so much for replying!! 😁
Love this!!! Could you share the markers you used ? I would like to purchase some.
Yes... i used Tombow Dual brush pens. They are water based and are blendable (okay... not on wood!) And... I ended up sealing them on the wood with a spray sealer because they bled a little with the Poly... not badly, but enough that i wouldn't sell it like it was... I fixed it and spray sealed it to avoid the little bit of bleeding. The different sets come with a blending (clear) brush that on papers allows you to blend the colours so they merge seamlessly. Pretty fun!
