What if you can't unlock the tailgate because you can't get to the keyhole and release the lever? I'm guessing both of the electric locking mechanisms for barn door and tailgates use the same electrical switch system.😂 Bring out the hammer and pry bar 😂
@@fredmoss4540 I tried locking the tailgate on a new 2021 RTL-E that arrived last week and couldn’t get it to lock with the other locks. Although I didn’t try to enable it in settings.
@@mjg1544 Been a longtime member of Ridgeline Owners Club Forums for 14yrs now. We have Generation 1 Ridgeline in family. So been keeping up with this vehicle every step. They say the locking tailgate is disabled when vehicle are delivered.

The power locking tailgate is on all 2021 USA Ridgeline trucks. I'm not completely sure about all 2020 but some for sure

@@fredmoss4540 It is disabled when they arrive to us for PDI, the first one that landed definitely involved some reading of the manual.
