What a great layout with loads of elbow room, the more I look at it the better it becomes. :)
Thank you!!!
Like the rear bathroom (away from the kitchen). Great design.
Thank you!
This is the first time I have seen someone use an ironing boars for a table base. GREAT IDEA, I love it.
Yes, the table was supposed to be a temporary solution until we found something we liked, but we are still using it. Thank you!
I think its genius.
I really like your layout! I've seen a ton of these builds, and this one is very smart. Loads of storage. Great idea for the bathroom to be in the back with the garage area, instead of in ( or near) the nose like most other builds. Plus, you showed me that I can keep my big screen TV and view it comfortably down the long way of the trailer. I'm definitely going to copy that. Thank you for posting...great video!
Thanks so much! 😊
Looks like you have done a wonderful job with this build. One of the best I've seen.
Thank you!
Table on an ironing board - why did I never think of that?! Very smart!
Definitely my favorite layout, looks like you could/can be comfortable. A lot of these just seem like it would be "non cozy" lol. Don't get me wrong people do beautiful and creative work with great skills and imagination but for me this is "IT". Sorry for rambling i hope you guys are enjoying it...
Thank you. We love it too! Yes, we are getting a lot of use out of it. 5 trips in 2023. Planning our 2024 trips now.
Beautiful build. I would need a shower space
Thanks! We debated putting in a shower, but we always stay at campgrounds that have showers, so we decided against it.
Looks great and those portable chair things look so comfortable!!
Very nice layout! Well done!
Very nice! Great storage.
Thank you!
May be the nicest I've seen. We are in the middle of a Boondocking build
Thank you! Good luck with your build!
Use of the ironing board is genius!!!
Thank you! The ironing board was only $2 at a thrift store!
Looking good!
Very Nice!
Thanks!
Lots of good ideas!
Thank you!
Nice set up I like it😀
Thanks!
I actually have a conversation I did also and I’d like to complement you … terrific job… I seen your Missouri logos too… I’m from Joplin Missouri myself…. Greatly enjoyed video
Thank you!
What size is your trailer? Yall have everything you need for a nice trip, yet it doesn't look cramped. Great build.
The trailer is 8.5' x 20'. 7' tall. Thank you!
Meet in the middle, with the trim piece and find a neutral ground color of a different color. I would not do white, i would make it another color as an accent piece. Cool build.
Thank you!
You guys did an excellent job, love it ! Except one thing... the ironing board !!!! LOL !!! Do you really iron while camping, LOL ? I don't even iron at home ! May I suggest a steamer ? They are small, will fit perfect in your bathroom or one of your drawers and they make getting the wrinkle out soooo easy ! Enjoy your travels, your "home" is lovely !
Thank you! We just use the ironing board as a quick folding base for the table, not actually for ironing. Also, we have decided the table is too big, so we will be reducing the length by about 1 foot soon.
Very nice layout and all the storage is amazing, quick question how does a normal toilet gets dumped, do you have a black tank or can give more details on how it works.
Again thanks for sharing your amazing conversion.
The toilet empties straight down to a normal RV bayonet style connection for a sewer hose. The hose goes straight from the connection to the campground sewer. This has been working great since we always stay at campgrounds that have full hookups including sewer connection. (And we only use the toilet for #1) This fall however, we are going to camp at a state campground that does not have sewer connections. For this we have a ten gallon external tank on wheels that we will feed the sewer hose into. Then we will wheel the tank to the campground dump station to empty it.
Sweet
so how do you prevent the wheels from rusting in canada????
What size is the cargo trailer? The ironing board under the table is genius!! Bravo! 🎉🎉
It is 8.5' wide x 20' long and 7' tall. Thank you!
Nice
Thanks
Looks nice, curious what size trailer is this?
Thank you! It is 8 1/2 x 20. 7 1/12 tall.
I really wanted to see your build...but it was the most painful 11 minutes ever
LOL
Hey….I have that same shoe bench! Thought you should know.
Thanks! We love it.
Love the bench to sit and read the bible 🙏🙏
Thank you!
Very nice! I would be afraid that while I’m in there someone would put the latch down and lock me in.
Yes, we had that concern also. That is why we installed the second latch keeper www.ebay.com/itm/200890920212
and always keep the latch locked in the 2nd latch keeper. Also, while camping we unlock the rear door and have a barrel lock on the inside to allow emergency escape from the rear if needed.
@@stratokev2 👍🏻
Very Nice ! What size trailer is that ?
Thank you! The trailer is 8.5' wide x 20' long x 7' tall.
So, why did you buy a ramp door trailer? Also, what size is the trailer?
We bought a ramp door because that was the only one I could find at the time for size we wanted. It is a 20' x 8.5' with 7' high ceilings.
How much does it weigh when loaded with all your belongings? What do you use to tow it?
The trailer by itself was 3,200 pounds. We haven't had it weighed since building it out, but we estimate about 5,000 pounds. We use a Dodge RAM 1500 to tow it which is rated at 8,000 pounds.
@@stratokev2 Thank you!
Beautiful, hw long is the trailer?o
20 feet
Did you put the windows in yourself
Yes! It was kinda scary but there are quite a few videos on UA-cam showing how to do this. Also, I saved the insulation from where the windows were cut. When we store the camper we put the insulation cut outs in the windows to help keep out the heat.
What size trailer is this? also is it standard height?
The trailer is a 8.5' wide x 20' long x 7' tall. It is one of the standard heights offered. Thank you!
How do you bathe?
We always camp at campgrounds that have showers.
So, where's the stovetop?
When we were building the camper we decided not to put in a stove or oven because we rarely used them in our previous campers. We do have a portable 2 burner plug in stove top that we can use on the counter top or outside if we need to. Most of our cooking is done outside on a propane grill. Thank you!
@@stratokev2 kinda figured it was something like that, since y'all just use it for short trips🤗
No shower?
No! There is room in the back, but we don't need it as we always camp at campgrounds that have showers. Thank you!
So the bathroom is just a toilet no shower walls not finished
Yes, still need to finish the bathroom walls. Haven't decided what to use for that because if we open the door, we will be walking on it so the finish will need to be something that can handle that. No shower, we always stay at campgrounds with showers.
are you going to uncover the mini split for the next video?..oh wait...no cuz this video doesnt warrant seeing it
I have a separate video about the mini-split:
ua-cam.com/video/5bi2t-40u4A/v-deo.html
Thank you!
Next time please BACKUP! Thanks
Yeah, I should have used a wide angle lens. Thanks!
Very nice camper but do we really need to see what's inside every single cabinet and drawer? You could cut like 5 minutes off this video of you don't show all that.
Thank you!
Made me dizzy 😳😬
Yes, we probably should have used a tripod to record this video.
Why are your videos so close step back some
Thanks for the comment. Yes, we agree that we should have used a lens with a wider angle for this.
Camera WAY TO CLOSE. It’s IMPOSSIBLE To actually tell the layout. Just bits, pieces, no connection. Could be close ups of 5 different vehicles. I’ve seen the John a few times way too close. No idea of the floor plan. REDICULOUS. STOP. Let your husband present because this is not your forte.
Yes, I agree we should have used a more wide angle lens for this.
Sorry for my disappointment. I apologize. I was so excited to see it. We are looking forward to putting one together and have so much to learn!!
Ok, good luck!
Step back people. If you dont like it just move on.. There's no reason to be so mean to someone who seems to be very nice. " If you cant say anything nice, say nothing at all".
