@70grade37 Okay, you don't have to believe me. It was actually really easy. Maybe it's because my TV show rips are all ISO files. Fringe (One of my favorite TV series of all time) wasn't recognized. The solution was easy. All that I had to do was enter the TMDB number for the series and then simply select the episodes that align with the Season Number and Disc Number and then repeat this process for each Season and Disc (which only took a few minutes). I have helped several Zappiti and R_volution users who experienced this issue through the Facebook Group "R_volution and Zappiti Fanatics".
Just a little context. My video library is VERY small compared to several of you out there. I have about 400 blu-ray movies (Most are 4Ks) which have been ripped to my Synology 923 NAS).
Question for you. I have Synology 923 NAS too. I linked to my 4k iso files my Zidoo player. All the files were buffering with either no sound of 8 seconds delay. Do you have issues with your NAS playing the files through R volution player?

I am using the R_Share feature to have both my Zappiti Reference Player (using R_video) and R_volution One Media Player sharing information while connected to my Synology DS923 NAS.
My first thoughts... All my 1662 films have been indexed and identified. The identification seems almost 100% correct, I only noticed a few that I still need to look at. I have to say the names of my folders are 100% identical to TMDB, so that helps. I also used 4K, blu-ray, Netflix etc. in the folder name. All 4K and Blu-rays where identified with the correct banner. Netflix. Apple TV+ etc isn’t. Unfortunately the Speed is not really faster than the old app.. Only once you have scrolled through all the movies the first time is it super-fast because everything is loaded. However, it doesn't keep the posters when you close the app and start it up again.. Just like the old app. I really don't understand that! Why don’t they program so it loads all posters during startup? They really need to look how Infuse does this. That videowall is instant! Furthermore, for me I mainly have to wait for the Windows app to edit. And extremely disappointed that there are no plans for a 21:9 skin yet.
@@RajivKumaralphatechfreak All of my movies are "ripped" from my 4K and 1080P Blu-ray collection. I purchased my demo discs on eBay. Some were very hard to find, others, not so much.

Be carefull. Think twice. And if they close near soon? I was left in the mud with a Zappiti Neo that I bought five months ago (for 799€ the double of a Zidoo) and now is useless, unless I let them suck me 5,99€ per month just to link my movies with the covers.
Can you tell me how you were able to sync your R video player to your synology NAS? I finally got the R volution media player. When i linked my R video player to my Synology, it couldn’t go through. Instead it kept kicking me out the log in page over and over. I tried to reset the network, re entered the password, got it into the media folder of the Nas, then it kicked out back to the log in page. Please help.

Still no aspect ratio information. I cannot see any improvement over Zappiti, movie loading times are not faster too. This said, the app - when bought alone - is a rip off.
To me the loading times look improved. I have 1600+ movies, but I don’t think and hope it will be slower than the 400 we see in the video. Strange that they can’t make it as fast as infuse on the Apple TV, but that’s a much more powerful device of course.
I’m using the R_video app on my Zappiti Neo. I can confirm that it runs much smoother than the Zappiti app. I have over 1100 movies and they play in 2-3 seconds with no issues.

Currently around 700 Blu-Ray & 20 TV Series in offline mode. Offline mode is a must for owners with Average internet connections like myself being from Rural NSW. Sounds good except subscription is a little expensive ! , but not much choice I guess. Certainly not purchasing a R_Volution media player as well. 😅 I Recently discovered in my Zappiti Neo by adding any MKV file, I usually use just small random special features titles that aren't "named specified" through MakeMKV then changing its movie title and its Medidata after its ripped to a movie title that I will purchase in the future, then add the fake mkv titles to my collection, adding all medidata & poster art for future movie, by doing this through the cloud as normal, then backing the collection up in offline mode before the Zappiti cloud shuts down for good. After that happens you can still add the Actually future movie releases or new movies to Zappiti while in its "OFFLINE MODE" Basically replacing the fake MKV movie files to the actually New release movies. The Media player doesnt recognise anything different. Been doing this for a week now, before Zappiti Cloud shuts for good. I believe it just went offline "as of today" 😔 . I wish I new this little hack earlier. Could've done that with 30-40 future purchased movie titles then easily add them in offline mode at my leisure.

How big is your collection? Speed looks indeed improved. Just waiting for the 21:9 option.
