- The Transformator - Episode 12 "BATTLE BEASTS"
The Battle Beasts figures were released first in Japan by the Takara Co. It was not until later when Hasbro acquired the rights to sell the figures here in the U.S. However, this seemed like a fitting partnership since Hasbro and Takara more than succeeded with their previous Transformers toy line.
As part of the Takara strategy, many of the Battle Beasts figures appeared in the episode "Rebellion on Planet Beast" from the Japanese Transformers cartoon series "Transformers: The Headmasters." Unfortunately, the Transformers G1 series had ended here in the states so we missed out on the last season of Transformers and we missed the unbelievable Transformers / Battle Beasts team up! WHY!?!?!
Anyways, the Battle Beasts reside on the planet "Beast" and several of the figures are shown prominently throughout the episode. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find an English dub at the time of this posting, so I have no additional lore to provide here for the time being. - Розваги
I loved Battle Beasts, too- I've recently decided to try and complete my collection, and DAMN some of those things are pricey online (especially if they're "complete"- a Rub & Weapon combined easily cost $25-30). They're pretty famous for losing arms over time (about 75% of my childhood Beasts are missing at least one limb). I'm actually amazed yours has as many "armed" figures as it has- the way my friends and I played, I left a lot of toys crippled.
That purple guy is in fact a Mole, not an Anteater. The Anteater is red with light blue armor. The "Duck" is called Colonel Bird (who is probably an Eagle). Your cat is a Tiger.
It's still crazy how much detail was on these tiny figures- the armor was great, and many animal designs were very clever- the Cuttlefish especially.
Owning all the Vehicles would cost you a billion dollars- I saw a guy selling a big "Shark Base" for over $90.
+Jabroniville Haha... Yeah, they are getting up there in price. I had actually forgot I had the vehicles until I found the box I stored these guys in, of course as soon as I opened it I instantly remembered those vehicles. As far as mini figures go, these are my absolute favorite, and they hold up against anything released today as well which is impressive.
Exactly bro everything u said I agree wit all my originals are missing at least 1 arm if not both plus yea thats not a ant eater a duck and etc.
Oh wow I don't remember them having vehicles. Glad i managed to hang onto the handful i had, a mix of rub signs and light lenses. I bought my daughter one of the new ones that use dice but i don't like them as much.
+Dendric yeah, maybe someday they will release a more modern version that's a little better than the current releases...
The club that the spider has actually goes with the giraffe “Rubber Neck” was his in package weapon
i loved battle beasts, hope i can get some for my toy collection to review in the future. great vid :)
I know right! And THANKS. . . I honestly thought there would be a bit more activity on this video! I guess Battle Beast weren't as popular as I thought they were. Regardless, they are still some of my favorite toys, I would love to some day finish the entire set!!
