As a Adavanced Emergency Medical Technician we see a lot of misuse of insulin due to no education, causing an overdose of insulin. When prescribing insulin to a new Diabetic it is important to explain and teach the dose needed based on the PT' blood glucose reading at home.

I think a session on diet & how it affects chronic health conditions would be great. I’m back to WFPB, no oil after reading Mastering Diabetes and my insulin sensitivity has increased dramatically in only 4 weeks. I’m down to ~45 units per day from 75-90 units. My most recent A1C was 4.6 at the 3 week mark.

Read the nutrition label. 15 grams of carbohydrates will raise your blood sugar 15 points in approximately 15 minutes. The rule of 15-15-15.
