That game bag is very clever, and if we keep in mind that a White tail only yields 40% of its weight as meat, two hunters with the same bag may be able to pull it off. Depending on the size of the deer of course. I would love to have this when I go out for small game.

@thecanadianhunter300 The Mini Me Pack is obviously not designed as Eberlestock's "load hauler" pack. However, with the built in game bag you would be able to carry out some meat. As to how much of an entire deer you could pack into it depends a lot on you. If you debone the deer I think you could get one rear quarter or two fronts into the game bag. Also, the more you load up the greater the chance for decreased comfort during the hike back to wherever you need to go. Hope that helps.

Old review I know, but I have this pack and have a question about the sleeve on the side in the main compartment. At 1:28 in your video you can see it below your ring finger, what is the purpose of that? I don't remember them talking about it when I got it which is about when this review came out. And like European CaveBeast said the clips are a pain to unhook, but you just have to turn the D-loops the right way.

He must take only the choicest cuts. Heart Liver and 2 backstraps from a blacktail would fill it. And this pack doesn't carry much weight very well. Wish it would accept a couple of stays to stiffen it a little and put weight on the waist belt/hips. been using this pack for about 5 years.

Dude I know. The majority of a deboned deer in that? Um no. Love the pack though.

What color was this? Every place I look the variations are different shades.

I'd recommend looking on the eberlestock official page for better representations of color schemes. artificial vs natural lighting tends to change the darker shaded packs like the olive/coyote and dry earth variants.

I bought the H1 and several other Eberle packs. I have to say that the H1 is a pain in the f$(%*!@ ass. Why Eberle was so numb nuts when it came to the clip that attaches the bird bag to the shoulder straps baffles me. Took me ten mins to unclip one of them, the other I just lost it and cut the clip off. Disappointed in Eberle.
