Out of all the hydration packs I have used alone & attached to a plate carrier which is most of the time this one is my 2nd pick & recommendation only behind Source’s Ride 3L tactical pack. Such a great pack having all the same perks as this one just wider fitted to a plate carrier so when full of water it sticks out a lot less than this pack & I like how the straps on the Ride by Source doesn’t detach instead there’s a secret compartment so you can tuck them neatly away if you want to attach it to a plate carrier & there is 4 tube openings instead of just 2. Source also makes one called the edge which is slightly more wider making it slimmer when filled but needs a plate carrier to be used while the Ride by Source and this one both have straps to use alone Can’t go wrong with Sources packs & Aglite’s version imo. Better quality than Camelbacks even though they are the OG I still prefer Source over both.
QUESTION: I want the Assault Pack for the K19. Would it be best to get the kit or just the 3L pouch? Will the kit fit between the backpack and plate carrier? Or should I just stick the 3L bag in the backpack and have the suction cord come out the top zipper area?
No there is mot enough room in the 3L pouch when the bladder is fully filled except for a small amount of space at the top underneath the zipper area. The water bladder is vertically long & skinny / not that wide. When fully filled & put inside of the assault pack, it takes up it’s space right in the middle, with the left & right sides being free to fill up with stuff (radio, etc.). Now if you’re using something like a padded laptop sleeve, it fits in there kind of weird but it still works. You could sort of place the bladder more towards the left or right side inside the assault pack, but then obviously make sure your pack has even weight distribution, which would also change as you actually drink that water. A better bladder would be a wide rectangular bladder, which would spread the water weight & take up space more evenly throughout the assault pack.
Purchased a plate carrier with level 3+ plates, along with the hydration kit. The hydration kit never showed up had to spendbdays contacting agelite. When I finally got it it didn't come with the bladder. the most important damn part, nore did it come with the straps to attach it to the plate carrier. Won't be ordering any gear from them again. Which sucks cuz the carrier is great. Tried reaching out again about the lack of bladder never heard back after multiple emails.
I live in Phoenix so water is a must. I'm very happy with mine!

It can be used only on agilite plate carriers, because those attaching straps don’t exist in the same place on other plate carriers

Nice sir but can the hose come out from the side of the water carrier? A lot of the time we have to too much stuff coming over top of the shoulder.

Same happened with us. We've found straps separately, but where we can find the 3L reservoir itself? Or there's a list of compatible ones?
Can you fit the assualt pack over it?
Why didn't they put Velcro on the side Where it meets the plate carrier? My only complaint.
