@@TreebeardXIV Nah, Good Mythical Morning already did a episode like that and there's plenty you can do with it: Marco Polo, Trying to guess what something is based on touch and/or taste when you can't see it, trying to make a sandwich in the dark, messing around with glow-in-the-dark stuff, playing darts (stupid dangerous), etc. But like I say, it has all been done before.

No joke, the captions are like 40-50% of the comedic experience of TMPH for me. I enjoy them so much that I find myself wishing they were on the regular Grumps episodes. There's just something about the captioner having to approximate the vibe of sounds and music by putting, like, the Willy Wonka tunnel speech in caps in brackets that really adds so much to the experience.

Dan is excessively unhinged this episode and I am HERE FOR IT!
On the first tries with the ballistic gel, it was very funny and in Grumps fashion that Arin confidently said "I know what I'm doing [in terms of engaging the whole body] I did box", and proceeds to bash the gel more than slash, whereas Dan had a move that was more slashing.
For anyone that isn't familiar: For best results with a slashing weapon, you want to slide the edge along the target, or hit with the tip. That will cause more damage than a perpendicular bash to the side.
Seeing them just genuinely enjoy themselves and geek out is the BEST.

All of the swords and knives suck, but basically what it comes down to:
Weight, material (hardness vs flex of the blade), sharpness of the edge and lastly, user's technique.
Most of the blades clearly flexed wayy too much, because they were made of decorative, soft steel. Not made to ever come in contact with something. just decoration swords.
Next is, if your swing ain't straight, shit ain't penetrating.
