I've noticed one solid thing about Dan. When it comes to things involving food Dan is out. Outside of that Dan is often pretty solidly down for giving something a shot.
As someone also with OCD, I think that it plays a big role in deciding the food stuff for him. I'm what many would consider a pretty picky eater, but most of that is because I have a big issue with textures and mixing certain things together. Case and point: I haven't even watched any of their food stuff because I know it will set me off. I've just kind of suspected he has similar issues since I recall him mentioning that he eats each part of a sandwich separately.

I seriously thought I was a baby/had low pain tolerance until I compared myself to people without chronic pain/illness. My tummy troubles and cramps were preparing me for greatness apparently…

I've particularly bad IBS. When I had a kidney stone the nurses told the folks who took me to the hospital NOT to give me water, or else it might jostle the kidney stone around and cause so much pain that I could faint.
...I, who didn't know that, chugged water the whole way there and thought it was a colic lol
Same thing happened when I had appendicitis, I thought it was just another flash of pain and almost didn't go to the doctor because of it.

the only part that's missing is bursting into tears because you dropped a pen or becoming homicidal over the most minor inconvenience
most of the very few times in my life I've been genuinely furious were when I was on my period (but I'm on the pill now because I kept losing too much blood and passing out)

@@michelle6337 oh my periods were 2 weeks long with a 1 week gap (during which I'd still cramp) so I never had to wonder if I was going insane. I just had to worry about literally everything else associated with periods, which in my case included losing enough blood I became anaemic and kept passing out

I remember the first time I had cramps. I called my mom while she was at work bawling my eyes out begging her for help. Obviously there was nothing she could do. I was 11. Thank GOD for birth control.
Sorry to jump on your old comment but just a PSA - if you're having really bad period cramps, it's worth getting checked for endometriosis. I used to get cramps so dehabilitating I couldn't stand fully upright, and would be off work from the pain. Meds helped but had side effects. Got a laparoscopy and was diagnosed with stage 3 endo. Could have saved about 15 years of monthly agony if I'd been checked earlier. Super painful periods aren't normal, ladies!

This just goes to show how genuine and humble he is; he really seems like such a chill, laid-back person and I love it

@@farkbett699it 100% exists, but the dissagreement is about whether it's caused by women's choice of job or by sexism pushing them out of higher paying jobs and into "female codes" jobs like serving tables and teaching etc
It does exist, but the claim that it exists only due to a persons sex is simply wrong. Sex is one of many factors including age, interests, personality and occupation. By those accounts, women do get the short end of the stick.
