Sarawak is the only state in Malaysia that focuses and spends heavily on education. Give full loans, education scholarships , free school transportation, upgrade schools, helping students settle PTPTN debts(30%) and etc. No discrimination, everyone is equal and opportunities are given to everyone
Sarawak need talent for its rapid development, so good that they recognise top scholars in their public institutions!

Every Student deserve an education IF he/she wants to, not just with 10As but with any suitable results and interests. Even Albert Einstein didnt get all As.. and many successful discoveries not by ALL As student and researcher. So Good for Sarawak..to do something Federal Govt cannot. Leader ship matters
Yess..this is the way it is. Do not be choosy who can study in a perfect university/college. Nobody is perfect. Even those who get diploma, degree and even master are not perfect from the beginning. Sarawak ada pemimpin yang bijak. Malaya terlalu banyak bagasi politik berdasarkan agama, perkauman, bangsa dan warna kulit. Kalau PMX isytiharkan begitu pasti PRU16 Harapan akan diturunkan dan digantikan dengan PN yang lebih berpihak kepada dasar apartheid perkauman dan agama.
Bijak dan cekap mengambil peluang dua perkara berbeza. Sarawak MA63 berbeza dgn status dgn negeri2 di semenanjung. Agak kurang tepat membezakan geopolitik keduanya. Individu yg pernah bertugas di Sarawak amat faham situasi disana. Sangat berbeza dan perlu diingat. Sarawak ada autonomi dlm beberapa perkara dan ini berbeza dgn semenanjung. Satu perkara lagi, peratusan muslim kurang berbanding non-muslim. Tidak perlu kita kata disana ramai bijak, disini tidak atau perlu belajar dgn Sarawak. Sebaiknya buat kajian serta rasai menetap di Sarawak beberapa tahun dan baru beri pandangan ilmiah serta membina. Sekadar kongsi pengalaman utk kita renung bersama.
Guna istilah semenanjung la tuan dah tahun 2024 istilah Malaya tu dah tak sesuai.

If I'm not mistake or misleading... the offer are mean to Sarawakian student only and so do the free tertiary education in 2026, what ever your race/religion and so on as long as you're Sarawakian... you can apply for the said programmed.

I think that is a great move by the Sarawak govt.. Top students will give rise to a reputable name for this higher institution in ASEAN. China has many top students that cannot enter University bec of limited seats, and if all these top China students graduated here in Sarawak, I think the next silicon hup will be this Borneo States Govt. ❤❤

Producing too many graduates doesn't solve any problem if there are no jobs avaialble in their fields of study.
Look at the USA. Many graduates are working in the service industries un-related to their studies.

The 10A offer by Anwar is slap in the face. Students with 8 or 9 A are not give a places.? Not all Students take 10 subjects or get 10 A for all subjects.

How is free education a "tongkat"? This is not affirmative action. This is making sure those that did well in their studies the opportunity to further their studies. This policy in Sarawak is for all Sarawakians regardless of race and religion.

All eligible students from Sarawak and Sabah can apply UiTM. Those Bumiputera students can apply UiTM. Those who are not eligible try applying this Pra Course or you call it Kursus Asas. It is 1 or 2 semester course and if qualify you can enter a Diploma Course. Good Luck.
Students with 10As should apply for scholarship or bursary to study at the top 10 universities in the world in Singapore, UK and USA instead of staying in Malaysia.
I agree. Let the smart goes overseas. Let the beginners stays first. Nobody is perfect. I remember i went to canada the canadians ask me "Where am i from?". I replied "I'm from Malaysia". Then the canadians replied me back, "Really? You're english sounds good. There was 1 time a malaysian student study here and they dont even know how to speak english". In my mind was like "I'm guessing i know who are those people"

If you are top student, go to Australia to continue study. You will get better salary and low cost of living. See many graduan in Malaysia menganggur and have to take low salary. Don’t make wrong move. Don’t take the offer to study in Malaysia even if it is free.
I think a lot of good students will end up studying in Sarawak and contribute to Sarawak growth. A lot of Malaysia not realise that every year Singapore government will offer scholarship to top students in Malaysia, and a lot these students stay back in Singapore after graduation and contribute to Singapore economic growth. That explains why a small country of Singapore can get so many productive workers compared to Malaysia. Our local policy is to reduce the standard to produce a large group of over confidence graduate lower quality graduates. The top students just pass to Singapore to avoid them to compete in Malaysia. All due to race politics in Malaysia.
The cabinet announce 10A will definately get matriculation down under the little napoleon in each college selected panel are still doing racism and not following the govt instruction, the civil service are that failed the govt reforms, they did not bulge to chande old method which they prefer bumiputera Malay student to be selected first to consume 90% places including the mediocre malay students and living the 10A and more higher scorer non malays being left out.
You can help the underprivelage but you cannot denial the right to education
