    I did a LED swap on my 2004 WJ.. didn't need to add a load resistor. Works fine with no issues. Typically don't need them unless newer, German, or on a brake or blinker bulb.

    Man I just changed all my lights...got to the last one at the hatch and looks like a wire must have come loose cuz now it doesn’t work. My wire had no length whatsoever and I tapped into it, hooked up the resistor and nuttin. Hoped it was a malfunctioning LED but put the old like it and nuttin 😭. Guess one day I will get to fixin it.

  • @toddr2265
    @toddr2265 3 роки тому +4

    You should look into using "T" connectors on the wiring. They are a little easier to use, cleaner looking install, and you can disconnect the resister if you need to replace it without affecting the wiring. I just bought a few hundred of them for $8.
    Good looking interior light upgrade. I'll probably order a kit from you.

    Maaaan you weren't kidding about that glovebox light being a pain!! I got the old one out by breaking it accidentally with pliers and then luckily having a wire from the bulb left to be able to pull it out lol. Getting the new bulb in took like 30 mins of fumbling and then getting those damn plastic D shaped things back in took forever!! Everything else was a breeze though lol, even the load resistor. So glad I finally got around to installing these, thank you man!

    Can you make a video about the climate control and the switches on the doors and how to replace the lights in those? I was thinking about getting your dashboard kit but can’t find a good video about the climate or door switches lights either, since your kit includes climate control lights as well. I got my LEDS about 4 months ago and I love them. But I can't figure out why they keep killing my battery. I thought it might be the battery itself, but the thing is only 7 months old. The LEDS seem to ALWAYS draw power and I do not drive it every day so when I do go to drive it, the battery is dead. Is there something I did wrong or anything I can do to help that, or should I go back to stock?

      Hmm I haven’t noticed anything like that on my Jeep. I’ve left mine parked for 2 weeks and still started up. If I remember correctly the Jeep after you look it automatically shuts off the power to the interior lights after like a minute or two. I would say do a parasitic draw test to verify what is drawing power. Also hit me up on Instagram or Facebook @najaroffroad I respond there more often and faster
