I like how distorted the main melody sounds. It, along with the completely black portrait, makes it seem almost like the game itself can't even comprehend what Akuma is.
The drums sound like drums playing during or before a war in feudal Japan, the main melody is distorted, intense sounds of a traditional Japanese instrument IDK the name of, the other background melodies also sound intense. The main melody in itself sounds dark, distorted, intense & even melancholic in a way, like you`re fighting a fighter so strong, skilled & dark that he s only heard of legends- *till now* and the fight is a *Death match* . I love those loud drums in the beginning that play right before the main melody kicks off, a great beginning.

@@azurespirit6591 Yea, you can say I become a Grammar Nazi sometimes :P I am actually playing the GBA port, in that one when you reach Akuma the game glitches & shows you Akuma`s win screen without even letting you fight him, but you can unlock the option to fight him in time attack, I tried it once, at 1st it looked easy... then he got me with a mid-air hadoken & then proceeded to kick my still recovering a$$. I have trained so much as Chun Li and yet he manages to beat me up like I`m some noob.
