I personally don't find anything about that promotion worth committing to.
Right and that’s not even referring to promiscuous women. I know very educated women who are successful as well and they simply aren’t looking to be married. And for the ones that are they are never as proactive about it as they are with school or their career and hell bent on being viewed as a “Pick me”.

Well, to start: Why buy the cow, when the milk comes free?
In the case of black women, they're too aggressive and argumentative. And I get that they will have an issue with that being said, but it is what it is. There are black men that are willing to marry outside of the race, there are those who won't, so they will deal with the attitudes that come with the woman but being in an unmarried relationship is different from being married, because when I have had enough of the attitude, I can just check out.
And then there are those who can't get a relationship because women dismiss them for any given reason(s) and there are those who are completely checked out of serious relationships.
Black men and black women have been dealt a very harsh hand due to history, but at this point, it's black women who perpetuate the cycle:
1) Get with a man that ain't shit.
2) Have his children and end up a single mother.
3) Raise young men without any real male figure, to teach them how to be a good man - Rasie young women and teach them how to continue the mistakes of their mothers.
This could be fixed within a single generation but as long as better men are overlooked, there is no chance for healthy black families to prosper in a grand scale and with the changes within Gen Z, there is every reason to believe that young black men are simply going to leave black women behind, in favor of seemingly more favorable situations, with other races of women.
I've BEEN saying this for the longest! Black women choose their fate when they have kids out of wedlock with trash men. Then they turn around and think they can still get a good man. The train already left the station. It's over.
I grew up in Elizabeth, N.J., around people from different ethnic groups. I am talking Portuguese, South and Central Americans, and a few Filipinos. What I noticed about the women from those ethnic groups is how hard they go for their men.
I am not saying Black men do not want to get married, what I am saying is why would we get married?
As I said, from my observations growing up the women from other ethnic groups are giving their men a reason to marry them. They are bringing them lunch at school, they are buying them gifts, they are pampering them and showing them love constantly. I cannot say the same about Black women.
I am telling you this as a person who grew up with them, from kindergarten to college. Played soccer, ate at their houses, went to their quinceaneras. The women from those ethnic groups give men a reason to marry them, what is the reason are Black women giving for you to marry them?

I remember feeling trapped with my mother. I wanted to get away from her as a kid. As a teen, i felt drained of energy when she was around. Not listened, not loved, not cared for...and my Dad, it cost him to stay, it cost him to leave... It cost me to leave, but it was worth it.

From what I've seen it's just another tool to be selfish and disqualify completely reasonable candidates because actually learning and adapting to another person would require humility and selflessness, which are 2 things I've never experienced consistently from black women.

There are more married black men than black women. This topic just isn’t empirically true. Moreover, many of the female guests are generally not the type of woman a man who is interested in marriage will select. Furthermore, these woman are not selecting men who are looking to be husbands. Topics like these have to stop being discussed ad nauseam because it posits that men are the only party with autonomy. These conversations need to be chopped at the knees with factual information and the case is closed. We need to move the needle and get individuals educated on these topics who want to keep the family nucleus intact.
A man's value increases with age and experience, while a woman's decreases hints why they want to settle down sooner.

Our women are the only women claiming they're independent. In war, being independent is called a mercenary, which means they're only loyal to the highest bidder. As soon as you get priced out they're gone. So why would i commit if you cant commit?
With the risks of financial and legal stress associated with divorce, the threshold a woman must meet for marriage must outweigh these risks! A lot of sistas are simply not worth the risks! Many have aggressive personalities with bad attitudes, many are overweight, many have racy tatoos and piercings, many only want to take from the man! So if a man sees any of these problems, he will likely be hesitant of putting himself in a legal situation with a woman!

Ratchet culture has taken it's toll on our demographic, for both men and women, so dudes wanna be players and females wanna be city girls. And then the high rate of divorce probably scares off a lot of the dudes that want to get married, ain't nobody trynna risk it all and lose 1/2 the stuff they worked their entire life for on a chick.
Ima be honest for the ones that know it but don’t speak on it. Most men don’t get the dating and sexual experience women get in their 20s. Most men are still growing and blooming late physically and financially. When men get to their 30s and 40s that’s when men begin to experience a better dating and sex life if their money and fitness had improved. Women already had a 10 - 15 year head start so by the time they r ready to commit, men have just gotten started in experimenting. Women will never understand because they didn’t have to work for their value.
