Why would I want a female friend? My female friend is my girl/wife, mom, cousin, sister etc. I can see having females as acquaintances but that’s about it. Any advice I need I can get from my pastor, an elder, my best friend etc. why would a grown man need advice from a woman lol. This is why we have so many men acting feminine nowadays. Men and women are fundamentally different. I wish we stopped trying to equivocate the two.
Because a grown woman can give sound advice. Taking a woman's advice to heart, listening to her opinions and even doing what she suggests doesn't mean a man is "acting like a woman." Most issues are human adult issues. Yeah there are things that men go through and women go through. But those things can be fundamentally the same.
And I am a proponent of men having female friends. Not just acquaintances. Every relationship isn't about sex. Unrelated men and women can be platonic and sex never come up between them. I don't trust men that can't or don't want female friends because to me, that means those men only value women for their sexuality. Sexuality is a beautiful thing but I am more than that.
