I just picked up one of these and I thought I would try mounting the handbrake onto the other handle. It works just as well with the handbrake upside down on the other handle and it made a huge difference. I'm no longer constantly changing my grip between braking and accelerating and with my other had I can implement either or both brakes. I also worked out I could fit both the handbrake and the bell on the same side leaving room on the other side for a phone mount.
Great review mate, I’m about to buy this scooter for £248 off there official website which seems like the best priced scooter out there right now that isn’t locked to 15.5mph.
@@Sendthatp Yes i did recieve it but i wouldnt say you should buy it when its warranty is shit but if you already bought it, then dont be scared it will arrive.
ive bought the scooter but it seems that the, so call suspension they said it has, is not even there. I tried jumping up and down but i could not see any suspension in place. Im thinking of returning it or getting a replacement as this fault could just be a problem in the making of this scooter but if not...
@@vicro124 oh there is an m5 that doesn't have rear suspension. I wonder if they sent the wrong one. And I didn't take the scooter apart but it could be the speed controller isn't stuck down maybe.
I'm pretty interested in this as a first time escooter, I've saw it on Amazon and youtubed the name and your video was the first results. Thanks for an informative insight on this e-scooter. I subbed to see more of your content, keep up the amazing videos 👍👍 I'm also very much into VR too, Still running an OG HTC vive myself, I'll also check out your other channel too
Thanks very much Rion. My other channel has a few ev reviews too including the i9 from the same company. Might be a good alternative. Bit smaller and cheaper just without suspension.
I have a car provided for my work, to go from site to site, so the start and finish are directly at my house. 😅 it's handy for doing a few quick shopping.
I hope you answer questions. people make vids and reviews, but rarely answer. So, I just want to know,is a Bluetooth app necessary to operate all functions, speed gear changes et cetera? Basically what I mean is, is the app absolutely necessary to initialize it when you pull it out of the box? ( Giggity )
How could I possibly not answer this !?? 😊 no it's not needed at all. Usually it's just to increase the top speed but this one was already hitting 19mph.
My commute is very short at the moment, less than a couple of miles each way, so something like this would be perfect. 👌 How common is scooters being water resistant by the way? Never occurred to me before that they wouldn't be, before watching this.
These days my work commute would be about 17 miles each way, and paved roads, but I expect I'd use a scooter or e-bike for going a couple miles to the grocer 🧀 and pharmacist ⚕ & back.
Google maps say's my commute to work is exactly 32.2km, that's roughly 30min with no traffic.... a perfect run. During peak times it's roughly 45+ minutes and that's 90% highway km's so fairly good terrain beside the fact that half the lane lines are nonexistent due to a major upgrade that has been going on for nearly 2 years....... so I don't think an E scoter would get me there. But if I lived in the city or the suburbs what a great way to get around 👍🤓👍
My commute is around 6 miles each way which I'd be happy to do on an e-scooter however I'm not comfortable with the fact that the whole route would be in public spaces (mainly cycle path). I really feel that it is high time that the government got their act together regarding legislation over e-scooters/ EUCs etc. It's amazing how politicitians endlessly talk about how much they care for the environment whilst forcing people to stick with their cars. 😔
@@e-VRC yes mate, a Reid e4 plus! My only complaint is, I've never seen 16mph out of it. But yeah, it saves getting the car out and beats walking. But I only got it at Christmas, and so have only done needed journeys. But when the weather turns nice, I do plan to get out on it more 👍

Does it come with an app
My commute is about 15 miles and it's mostly on nice roads.

My commute would be 5-10 miles on slightly rough terrain. I can see me 🚴 this while camping! Another great video!
Thanks! Yeah these would be cool to take camping.
Hi I’m not sure if this has happened to your scooter but whenever I push the throttle down it will beep and not move could you help?
Has it always done that or just started?
Do you know where you can get the parts for it
I haven't tried looking but I bet there's parts on ali express. A lot of parts can be changed though so local scooter repair shops can help.
@@e-VRC oh thanks
Are they easy to build
Extremely easy 👍
Do you still have your ix4
I do. planning on upgrading it soon

I ordered this a week ago and it came with a maximum speed of 15mph how can I make it go 19mph
There's no speed unlock on this. You just press the button to cycle through the speed settings red being 19mph 6:30
I will probably use it🚴🏼♀️to get some 🍔🍟take out. Nothing too far away ❄️ is still too 🥶 here. As always great 👍🏻 video
Thanks Dinali!
I’d be going to my Community center or to the part to play with my friends and it would be really smooth downtown ❤️

Most of them are rain and splash proof which is generally enough.
I'd use it to get to and from the 🚂 about 5 miles total on smooth sidewalks.
Not much of a commute 1/4 mile (which I walk) but some is on a very rough gravel road so would need suspension. 😊😊

When I go into work my commute is about 15 miles, but it's mostly motorway so a scooter probably isn't a great idea.🤣🤣
It would be funny though 😂
So my commute would be roughly 5 meters. 😂 Home-Office!
Haha nice. Scooters for fun then 🤟
Pretty sure there are like 60 other companies who make the exact same scooter as that.
Yeah I've definitely seen this badged as a different brand.
My commute is 0 miles because I work from home, or try to. 😅
16 miles all road might be too much🤠
Yeah hit and miss for this one.
My brother bought this exact scooter new he had it a week before he fell off it he sold it to me for £80 #result for me 😂

7.5 AH battery, Nope not worth it i prefer my scooter has a 11,6 Ah battery
