HIMARS OP......and framerate is underrated i modded Bradley to have a stealth and Tomahawk to have more range and unused asset like point defence laser on Gen.Alexander as an upgrade for all building and vehicle.

in 2024 a single pc has power equal to a supercomputer from back in 2003, and still, this game has become laggy with a normal or high number of units... I never understand why... I wish some programmers come forward and remake this with DOTS technology. and then he can become rich

Use Genpatcher. That or you may be playing in Twilight Flame (That map is ridiculously low FPS) Either way, try checking what graphics card is being used by the game (Intel HD Graphics or your actual Graphics Card i.e. Nvidia GT710 or something else)
Boy.. at first 5 minutes, I swear I can invade and finish you with few basic units and tanks.. You looks like, destructed, overwhelmed and can't be able to centralized your focus. I laugh hard when people pretend they can do "Multi-Task" but they really can't, especially when I saw you build only one power plant while you keep building much infrastructures for base development. You gotta remember your weakness before you go in every battle and dominate every square inch of the map, in this clip you choose capitalist troop's, so it consumes energy to keep on the go. Basically, your weakness is ENERGY, without it, you are worthless than a dust. Do you know how to survive in such tragic scene when your enemies hit your vital core? Lemme share something, "Load that fuqing humvee with Javelin trooper's and released the paladin tanks who can shield any surface to surface or air to surface missile's nor even small rocket's. Make 4 battalion regiment that can hold 4 corner's of your last defensive formation while creating a strike team that can sneak thru the base of enemy." Nathless, I like your gameplay. Pretty good enough I wish we can do tandem to fight PvP battles, you really have potential and taste that I am looking for. Kudos! 👍
Can't find a free version of this game anymore used to play this back 2014, I was just a kid loving the shit out of the cracked version of this game. I played zero hour back then too; I'm shocked there's a lot of new mods now.

I cannot get it to work no matter what I do. I even tried to add it to Gen tool, but it just starts in vanilla. I don't understand, like battlemaster tank needs 2-3 shots from other tanks or just from bazookas and flaks to go down, what is this, why every single unit needs 2-3 shots or even 1 to go down
@@Shavikaci123 It depends on the vehicle. Each unit has its own stats like HP, value for damage dealt to X category of units, and value for damage taken from X category of units. Sometimes projectiles miss their target. I’m not saying the mod is 100% realistic, no game/mod is, but it has realism in it like non-AP bullets dealing little to no damage to armored vehicles, friendly fire by projectile collision (e.g. friendly air units getting hit by MLRS missiles), missiles destroying each other on collision, and so on.

My game doesn't run as fast even with the lowest graphics possible at vanilla game, gets stuck at 10fps if I play 2v2, My specs are quite too high for the game. i5, Rx 480, 16GBs RAM. Can you please help me and tell me if you faced this problem before or if you know at all how to fix it? I wanna play my childhood game and really have fun doing so.
Hello. That’s really odd. What gen is your i5? Have you tried reinstalling the game and/or the mod? Does vanilla Generals ZH run fine? And yeah, sometimes I do experience FPS drops, but that mostly depends on the number of players. The next version of the mod will have improved performance and a lot of new features/units. Hopefully it will be ready soon.
@@DeathMetalMarine It's i5-4590 3.30GHz, I tried so many solutions to no avail, however the solutions I followed did solve the problem for other mods and the Vanilla, only Enhanced can't seem to handle 3v3 without crawling to 10fps all the way until the AI just has no more resources to fight with and stops doing anything or I manage to destroy a few of them, then the game gets better. I will stick to 2v2s for the moment, I hope the next update is better, even though they've been working on it since 2014.. By the way I usually play against AI, and it seems the lag only comes from AI battles.
I see. Well, I'm guessing it's GPU-related. And yes, the mod is heavy on the game's engine, but optimization is possible, for sure. Vector has been hard at work and shares news on the mod's Facebook page and ModDB page almost every week. Sometimes good things take time, man, and it will be worth the wait. Let's not forget that everyone has their own life and real life responsibilities. Being patient and enjoying the teasers is all we can do.. And enjoying what the current mod's version has to offer until the new one is out. I recommend you play on maps that you find less laggy. Some maps are less laggy, even when playing against 5 AIs. 🙂
@@DeathMetalMarine I certainly appreciate all his hard work, moreover, he's doing all this for free. I wish I knew modding to help him out. I'm still trying to figure out a way to fix the lag, my GPU runs pretty fine, I think the limit is the game is 32 bit, it only takes up 400mbs of RAM when it should take more even though 16GBs are available. It only lags when there's a ton of units all over the map defending idle AIs.

My game doesn't run as fast even with the lowest graphics possible at vanilla game, gets stuck at 10fps if I play 2v2, My specs are quite too high for the game. i5, Rx 480, 16GBs RAM. Can you please help me and tell me if you faced this problem before or if you know at all how to fix it? I wanna play my childhood game and really have fun doing so.
Hello. That’s really odd. What gen is your i5? Have you tried reinstalling the game and/or the mod? Does vanilla Generals ZH run fine?
And yeah, sometimes I do experience FPS drops, but that mostly depends on the number of players. The next version of the mod will have improved performance and a lot of new features/units. Hopefully it will be ready soon.
@@DeathMetalMarine It's i5-4590 3.30GHz, I tried so many solutions to no avail, however the solutions I followed did solve the problem for other mods and the Vanilla, only Enhanced can't seem to handle 3v3 without crawling to 10fps all the way until the AI just has no more resources to fight with and stops doing anything or I manage to destroy a few of them, then the game gets better. I will stick to 2v2s for the moment, I hope the next update is better, even though they've been working on it since 2014..
By the way I usually play against AI, and it seems the lag only comes from AI battles.
I see. Well, I'm guessing it's GPU-related. And yes, the mod is heavy on the game's engine, but optimization is possible, for sure. Vector has been hard at work and shares news on the mod's Facebook page and ModDB page almost every week.
Sometimes good things take time, man, and it will be worth the wait. Let's not forget that everyone has their own life and real life responsibilities. Being patient and enjoying the teasers is all we can do.. And enjoying what the current mod's version has to offer until the new one is out.
I recommend you play on maps that you find less laggy. Some maps are less laggy, even when playing against 5 AIs. 🙂
@@DeathMetalMarine I certainly appreciate all his hard work, moreover, he's doing all this for free. I wish I knew modding to help him out. I'm still trying to figure out a way to fix the lag, my GPU runs pretty fine, I think the limit is the game is 32 bit, it only takes up 400mbs of RAM when it should take more even though 16GBs are available. It only lags when there's a ton of units all over the map defending idle AIs.

Still can’t get this installed on my PC. It always stops after the 2nd disk for some reason.
Try installing in administrator mode. Then massage the various files IN THE ADMINISTRATOR FILES. It can be done.
