Bro i was 8 playing alongside my dad 😭😭. This brings back so many memories. When he lets me play he always chooses “easy army” option and 1 “medium army” opponent. It was always USA vs China hehe
What I always dislike about the AI is that they are seven and teamed up, yet they dont use all of their units at once and just send a handfull every now and then. They would stomp you when all seven of them start attacking at once. Just look at the amount of units they have doing absolutely nothing.
Yes, it's a bug in some maps they don't attack at all, in some maps they don't even protect their base and just attack anyway

By double-clicking the right mouse button, you can make the particle cannon move faster
good videos, def some nostalgia. glad I got my generals and ZH on this desktop. A few things to consider, stagger defense lines in a triangular pattern. once you get to three lines of defense, you're pretty good. concave them for better coverage, lines don't do well against nuke cannons, scuds, tomahawks etc. no need for gaps between supply drops. you'd fit in 2x as much but at what point do you focus on military over economy. command centers take 3 super weapon strikes to destroy. if you're making 50 orbital cannons, just pop off centers and destroy tractors= that team dead.
No matter the age or time we reached this game still my best

Good planning for placing buildings, everything is clear in sectors, no dummy
after a while bot will not have enough money to buy new building and units....
it would be fun if someone remove the bot limit to buy nuke... haha that would be crazy...
and bot attack you without any reserved...
and ontop of that i love the warship mission where they got airstrike for USA... wish someone able to revamp the game
and allow it to have off land war...
this game great up to date... no other game have bring this type of mechanics...others are too damn cosmetic...
this game is from 2003... its been 20 years people still failed to bring this up....

I like how the laser turrets had these seizure moments where they would just ignore their range after killing a target and randomly fire hiccups of laser shots at long range weaponry
I never understood if that was a bug or intentional... But it is OP in a very weird and unpredictable way.

Laser is the best faction on defense
what kind of bots they are. In my games after 5 min they send 100 range units. and takes everything
in hard difficulty if you can resist during the first 10-15 minutes, it is not difficult to destroy them
nah when i saw the the video it was insane
well nice base layout but tbh fighting laser on an easy to defend map against factions without any means of artillery is kinda boring... nuke general would have been way more interesting

All the AI had to do was make a ton of planes and send them over the wall bombing your power plants. All your defenses and particle cannons would be useless. Good video though.

It's one of the maps where the AI is easy to beat because the pathfinding is broken.
Also, starting with more $ seems to always make it easier against the AI.

In some maps, it is very difficult to stand in front of 7 enemies, but stupid strategies are also attractive
@VaaRDeeV oh I'm sure! It's just a interesting fight for survival, 100k seems to easy with such a non stop defensive build up to start with is all.

yea, some maps AI is staying on the site and not attacking! this makes me have to attack with a stronger army because their defense will be very strong
Question.WWhy you nuke the hole Time the Superweapon of the Enemy? a smart General nuke the Tech Center,som is NEEDED to built Superweapons and more. So every Enemy must built everytime first a new Tech Center be for he can built new Superweapons.
First Target is the Tech Center,next the Headquater to stop the Enenmy to built new Bulldozer,and then all Dozer one by one. NO Dozer-NO nEW Building,some means NO SUPERWEAPON.
Yes, I agree with you. But sometimes the game becomes boring if I stop their construction. Sometimes I just destroy their superweapon because if I don't do it, they destroy me in the blink of an eye, but I try to play a new model every time and it's not repetitive so it doesn't get boring.
i have change my game Play and try now to TAKE every Base and Builing over,best with China and Lotus. and so at i miss a minimum on Units,but play so long some possible. in the end i have the hole Card take over and have every Base.@@VaaRDeeV

how is your game not lagging when you have a lot of laser towers? mine lags so much with like 15+ laser towers. my PC is powerful enough to play this old game.
it's for the game itself. i have this problem, some maps it is annoying some maps not. you can't do anything about it the game is not optimized for modern rigs. just control the units you create cause 7 army in front of you they build a lot! that is the reason. i think the game can not handle about 2000 units in a map. some maps can handle less or more, and also try genpatcher program may be it will help

@@VaaRDeeV could be just me lol. checked the wiki and the superweapon general only modifies its color to pink.
some times it's get bugs in my experience ( every aspect of game ) for example in one map aurora bomber from super weapon general was white color! and with no double explosive bomb! 🤣
