Gotta say that Weeping City is my favourite, it felt so complete (and still does) when running through it, Ozma is also my favourite fight, feeling very different to previous fights and also feels like a raid boss fight. as for music gotta give it to Deathgaze, I love it especially when the voices start, but tbh Ive enjoyed all of the new raids and their music
I'm going to have to go with Dun Scaith with favourite raid. It's very simplistic but it shoves so many mechanics in your face during all of the bosses, it's great. It's also great how it features a different boss theme for every boss(in order, "Promises", "Ominous Prognisticks", "Voidal Manifest", "Revenge Twofold" and "Wrath of the Eikons"). My favourite bosses have to be Scatach, then Diabolos and finally Diabolos Hollow. Scatach absolutely wrecks everyone's shit and it's great to watch, and Diabolos offers the rematch of a lifetime. Ever since the first Lost City of Amdapor I've waited for that. I feel like Ozma should get an honorable mention here as well, though. Favourite track is "Aetherpause"(or "Aetherosphere", as it's called in the Orchestrion), the Void Ark calm theme.
Weeping city and Dun Scaith were both very enjoyable from the point of music (though I realized it only a bit later it's the same piece, different variations). Dun Scaith wins for me though
so the dun scaith queen doesnt have dif music eh. kind of a shame (just realized she echidna and weeping city boss all share the same battle music voidal something or another)
Yea, its too bad. Crystal Tower had the same theme for both Phleg and Xande but Cloud had its own theme - though I guess its because they already had FFIII to base it on, less work to be done.
Scathach Isn't a final boss so made sense for her not have unique music. It's like Cerberus in WoD. However in an ideal world, Deathgaze would use "To The Fore", Ferdiad would be "Ominous Prognisticks" Scathach would use "Revenge Twofold", Diabolos Normal would use "Voidal Manifest" and then Hollow Form would have it's own new music (Not Wrath of the Eikons....Hate that Track). That would fit in with the pattern used by WoD.
I thought it was fitting for Diablos to have Revenge Two Fold but should've flipped the sound tracks with Revenge being for hollowed. The name is fitting as Diablos is trying to take his revenge on both you and for his imprisonment. Two fold cause you're fighting him twice!
Void Ark was really the weakest of the bunch in retrospect. The first run was really interesting, the boss mechanics were interesting and the atmosphere was kinda intense. Problem was that repeat runs got stale really quick: Those boss mechanics got really tedious and methodic and the dark purple color palette got extremely boring and depressing to look at. The music initially sounds really good but it also gets stale really quick, there isn't much variety here. The Weeping City was amazing in nearly all aspects: Difficult boss encounters (in the first few weeks, that is), a cool outdoor environment and a good story. Ozma takes the cake for being the best 24-man boss in the game. I didn't care much for the music here though, I think it's one of the weaker tracks in the game because of how generic it sounds. I've only run through Dun Scaith once but the initial impressions were positive, I hope it holds up as well as Weeping City did after a few runs.
War of the Magi is probably my favorite 'ancient era' of FF14 so this entire raid was such a treat for me.
remenber guys if you get Mechanics in Ozma the best way to avoid them is jumping off the edge that always work
Fulmen Someone's been watching Drak I see.
Memories
Hey as a note, Ozma does now have a named theme. "A Thousand Faces"

omg thank you so much for this
I love it so much
Still should've remixed FF9 Battle 2 for Ozma fight.

the weeping city sounds like its from final fantasy 9

Weeping City is definitely the highlight of the raids. I also think that the music is brilliant but each to their own.
Dun Scaith's first boss has aged like fine wine
