- Certina's latest release continues their focus on releasing solid, vintage style dive watches. For this particular re-issue they revisit the DS Super PH 1000M, a professional level diver used in Tektite II, an underwater experiment part funded by NASA. We get hands on and take a look at the points of difference to the original and a general review of its features.

What a fantastic looking watch. This unique case design is extremely appealing as well. For me the orange of the minute hand clashes a bit with the more yellow dial but would definitely consider the black.
It’s an eye-catching watch - the bezel is really unique.
The Black one is amazing
I got the orange as when I first saw it, I had to get it. Tried it on a few times and loved it, but there is one big flaw for me, the minute hand needs to be thicker with more lune and contrast a bit more with the dial.

Hey man informed video , I bought one of these because the dial was in between orange and yellow and not too in your face, it wears a lot smaller than 42mm, in the box was for want of a better word, a half strap, any idea what that is about.
It is a dive extention strap

Is your video colour balance off? This appears to be canary yellow to me.
Nope - the watch was filmed in different lights however which can effect the way it looks.
How is possible 42mm of lug to lug ?
