These are the episodes that cemented my hatred for Nina's character. Her blatant, radically racist ass made a whole super warhead and SCREAMED at Suzaku to fire it and acted surprised when it actually killed people in a war like that wasn't the intention.
Actually, her character shift after this is what makes her a relatable and "human" character. Until now she acted as a racist mad scientist, hellbent in ending the war no matter what. It's a parallel to the Atomic bombs dropped in Nagasaki and Hirsohima. After that was done, and the devastation had HUMAN impact, the consensus was that such death toll and destruction wasn't worth it. Nina realises this, just as scientists did in real life. In both times, they deemed it necessary, with a hint of hubris to see their creation used, but then they realised how terrible it was.
@@Lctl10 That doesn't make me hate the character any less, especially since essentially her character arc is done now. After her shift, she basically disappears from the story and won't come back to any importance until the end. Like her ENTIRE arc was: "super smart racist tries to make a bomb to kill the guy who killed her idol, goes on to make a WHOLE nuke while somehow becoming more racist, then feels bad after she sees it work in a civilian area". That's it, didn't even try to do something about the nuke she made. Just one scene of "Poor Remorseful Nina," then poofed from the story after this.

Seeing Lelouch made him realize the truth but he knew that it was an accident, at least for the last few episodes anyways. He also knew how to lead the conversation. He wasn't going to forgive Lelouch but he has matured and wants world peace. He leads Lelouch into realizing that there is something more.
