Wow! Just awesome. We are loading up the motor home to drive across Canada, heading east, next week. We will be looking to bike those trails. I love your truths. I love my empty nest Nancy and I love the cool weather Amanda. Take care ladies.

I started crochet with DK Acrylic ... Lots of breaks needed due to my CTS in my wrists/hands but I recently started crocheting a Sock Yarn shawl on a smaller hook & omg so much less pain & the yarn is softer & got a bit of spring to it so when you said you were knitting the Thursday Sweater in Acrylic & wondered if it was the Acrylic ... It probably is!! ❤ Susannah

Amanda I love your trails! I want to move to your area...trails & breweries! Thanks Nancy for the new slip knit sock pattern. It's probably too late for your gorgeous baby sweater but I find bamboo needles work better with acrylic yarns. My metal needles stick to the yarn. Your house is progressing... YAY!!

Hello from Toronto. I can relate to your sore arm as I just recovered from a rotator cuff injury. I noticed that when unit you pinch the yarn. You may want to try flicking (there are several videos on UA-cam) as it may be less strain in the Knitting motion.

@@sweetskeinomineamanda2059 Marci’s is right up the alley from Picaroons, so you can grab one to go and bring it to eat while sipping a beer. Or grab a Pomodori pizza, which is also right next door. One of my favourite corners of Uptown Saint John. Oh, and if you are there early, Good Fibrations is at the top of the alley. Bonus for the yarny nuts that we are!

Great podcast. Eat local honey everyday for your allergies! Make sure you have Spring honey for spring allergies and Fall honey for Fall allergies.

You mentioned the square needles, Kollage. Do not buy the 9”. They are very hard on your hands. The needles do not want to be that small of a diameter. The larger needles are probably better, but not the 9”. Even the vendor when I complained knew that they did not work well. I wish he had warned me, but he just cared about getting the sale. If you think you want the 9”, make sure you give it a good trial, like an hour of knitting a cuff.
I'm a hiya hiya and Chiao goo needle girl myself. I always catch on Addis.
Also, my forearms get super sore when knitting with Acrylic!
