- Atlanta rapper Young Thug, born Jeffery Williams, faces multiple charges under Georgia's RICO Act. Williams, believed to be the leader of the YSL collective, supposedly operated a "criminal street gang" from outside his residence. Williams faces eight charges in a 65-count indictment. These charges include drug possession, possession with intent to distribute, and participating in criminal gang activity as an individual employed by a criminal street gang. Opening statements will take place on November 27.

The defense is on point.The judge is never on time for anything, rude, impatient, biased, and unfair his conduct as a judge is unbecoming. The prosecutor laughing at her own witness to antagonise him because he is not saying the things she wanted is the most disrespectful thing ever. She definitely did not score points with the jurors about that. This lady is a bully and the judge allows her behavior for some reason.

This trial is rediculous. The prosecutor just objects to everything and has to talk to the judge about every single thing. By the time that’s done the judge either wants a break or they are finished for the day.

The way the prosecutor keeps interrupting the defense attorney I feel like he is being gagged and the judge is enabling her behavior. If you're not impartial as a judge you have to go, his true colours are showing he is intentionally bias.

The rabbit hole I just went in after watching this, the judge and prosecution are definitely working as a team against the defense instead of the judge acting as an impartial adjudicator he is leading and helping the prosecution. He sustained every objection without reasoning in favour of the prosecution.

I thought the Judge favored the prosecutors and now after watching the cross examination. I’m fully convinced this judge is biased!!! Idc what anyone says..it will have an impact on the jury. They’re observing everyone involved in the case while listening to testimonies. We all are entitled to our opinions and I truly believe this is not a fair trial!

Wow, Mr Steel put on a clinic when he got to rolling with those questions. He did not miss a beat other than when the State Objected or simply said Judge lol and then said no I have no objection haha. The state knows they lost this battle today. This defense lawyer put out a lot of facts and made a lot of good points that will most likely stick in the minds of the jury.

@kellyj79 I never said they are equally objecting. I agree the prosecution is certainly objecting more than the defense but when you have multiple defendants with multiple attorneys then even the number of objections being made are exacerbated even from the defense.

"we'll take a ten minute break" , 25 minutes later they start!!! The judge has all these people sitting in the court room for 50 minutes before he starts the day.... Very unprofessional and disrespectful, multiply that by the days this trial will take and thats a lot of wasted time
I can't say for sure the judge has a bias, but if you listen to the objections it's during specifically worded questions to ensure that the person on the stand or the jury isn't given a verbal "slight of hand" in how the question is asked with the intent to guide the answer. Many of Steele's questions are worded in a way to encourage the jury to doubt Stevens, scare him with the terms of the plea agreement and to take away his credibility to the jury by implementing he could be taking a plea to get out of a 25/yr bid. Ms. Love is objecting because if Steven's answers that specific question it helps guide the jury into Steele's point of view. They playing chess with each other using other peoples lives.

This is the most bias i’ve ever seen. The state doesn’t even lay basis for objections and is mumbling. The judge is validating her objections. If they don’t beat this, the appeal will be a layup with a fair judge.
