- The Oversight and Judiciary Committee met Wednesday to vote on a resolution recommending the full House hold Hunter Biden in criminal contempt of Congress. President Biden's son made a surprise appearance at the meeting. Here's a portion of the meeting.

The issuing committee never even pursued contempt hearings on their subpoenas if I'm not mistaken, so not only irrelevant to this matter, but a moot one since the "expiration date" has long passed(last session of Congress) on those you mentioned.

From the testimony from both sides, Hunter responded and requested a public testimony. The committee failed to respond. Hunter showed up outside the committee and again requested his public hearing offer. Again no formal response. He even should up at this meeting. Again offering to testimony in public. Once again no formal response.

Now THAT was a proper committee hearing! It showed how Bennie Thompson is respected in government. They brought evidence after evidence, witness after witness who corroborated each other's testimony. It was perfection and led seamlessly to Jack Smith being appointed by the DOJ to further prosecute all guilty parties. It was a great accomplishment.
