I know I'm very late to this party but I just found your video. No doubt you've found a way to label your Brusho pots. I make my hole, sprinkle out some pigment into a triangular bead dish, put some Glossy Accents or matte medium around the top of the pot in the little depressed area -- avoiding a spot around the area where I've pierced it -- then I sprinkle the Brusho pigment into the wet medium. The pigments begin to bloom and I get some of the combined color and some of the individual elements that make up the color. I love that because that's really the nature of Brushos! Usually a bit of redistribution with a pokey tool is necessary but that mixes the individual pigments into the homogenous color. When it's all dry I can close the hole up with a push pin. With this method I can see at an instant the true color of each pot. Personally I like the Glossy Accents for its domed shiny appearance even though matte medium gives a true reproduction of the matte dried color.
love the Magicals Marta, you never know what you will get, do many bright colors to chose from and mix together. You make it look so easy. You are a wonderful artist. Good to hear your voice again.
I could watch and listen to you all day long! I love your videos, they're well thought through, put together nicely and are really easy to folllow. Thanks for sharing your heART.
I love the one set of Magicals, I recently bought. They are even more beautiful than expected. I plan to use them in combination with my Brusho set. I loved watching you play with your sets. I can already tell, I want to,collect them all...over time!
Thanks for sharing all your tips and techniques Marta. I have just invested in a few of the colour families and am excited to play and create. Thanks again, Karen
I'm so glad you did a comprehensive informative video on these.. I've seen a few different techniques and they looked interesting but now I see there are more options. You are so helpful! thank you, again!
i think this video was made when my Internet want working. thank you is awesome. your voice is so calm an instructive in this one is different. i like it is just interfering to hear you talk in these tones. much love. psi finally will get some magical but i have to wait almost thirty days. i get a set for st.valentine's day. wahoo. better than roses any day
nice video and I look forward to seeing more! I'd never heard of magicals but I'm going to research them now. I love your voice and the lesson was very clear & inspired me to try this technique. Thanks!
just started art journaling about a year ago and don't have much experience jet. In the beginning watching your videos I did not quite understand what you love so much about magicals. Then I got my first set and and immediately understood what made you feel that way😍...well I'm still experimenting around with them and have lots of fun and get lovely results. I know I will end up like you...having them all in the end. Just trying to stop me from rushing to buy them all at once...will end up eating just soup for the rest of the month😂😂😂...so artjournaling will help me get slim
Hey there, just wanted to share my tip which is probably not a new one for you but what I like to do when I have a matt color of my powders, I love all glitz and shine and shimmer, etc., so when I have a matt color but want the shimmer I just use pearlized water to activate the colors instead of clear water and it's awesome. Get the gorgeous color you want with that shimmer as those it was a metallic color when actually it's just a matt. I just use a little bit of pearl perfect pearls to my water and it's awesome. You could put any of the colors in your water to make your own sprays also. I do that in lieu of buying brand name sprays. I just make my own with the different water color powders I have and also perfect pearls and sometimes even the dollar tree eye shadows. (sorry, I wrote this before I watched the end of the video where you mention always about making your own sprays. :)
I love, love these Magicals! Beautiful backgrounds! I really like the bubbles and cross-crossed line stencils. can you tell me where I can find them? Thank u!
Those are awesome. I love that look you get when the colors run and move! They seemed similar to Perfect Pearls, so I tried it with the PP. I couldn't get any of the movement with the water and the PP....the water would soften the color but not get the the exact same results' that you got with the magicals. That's a really awesome product. Maybe I'll put those on my wish list!! TFS.
+Tommye Bell that is exactly it ! not all the pingments, powders micas etc will actually react same as magicals. Those really are special in the way they blend, mix and run in the water, that is why I wanted to show this amazing result. Thank you for sharing your test with me ! glad to know different comparison. Sending you many cretive hugs, Marta xxx
I've watched this video before...but it was great to watch it again. I just received some LSG Starburst and Flat Fabio sprays in the mail...so I've been refreshing my memory on how to use them! You have some wonderful techniques here +Maremi SmallArt! What I'm still not clear on is....how can I refill the bottles once they're empty? Can I just use LSG Magicals (like you did) to create the Starburst spray? Or is there another special pigment I should use? I might be getting ahead of myself here (LOL)...cuz I have SO MANY techniques I want to try....and it might take a while to use up what I've got. But just prepping myself...in case I get very ambitious with my LSG sprays! ☺ Thank you for your inspiration!! ☺
As I learned about this I figured out a cheaper version of this. These are besically powdered dyes. Here in Canada at our Dollarama (dollar store) we have these powdered dyes and I just bought them and tried it and they work just like magicals. They only cost me 1.50$ CAD per 50g of powder.
Thanks for sharing cool techniques, Do u have a little girl as when you filling water bottles,it seems a little girl comes in shot and then vanishes, made me jump lol
I hope you will find many more inspirations from my videos, including a brand new video added today ! ua-cam.com/video/yZpEr7BU6t8/v-deo.html ❤️ 🧡 💛 💚 💙 💜

Niesamowite ! Zakochałam się w nich :) Pani Marto , czy w Polsce można gdzieś kupić produkty Lindy's ?
these are AMAZING! off to Amazon to find them lol
Maremi how do you use Magicals for a color spray that you would use in Finnabair class?
As I learned about this I figured out a cheaper version of this. These are besically powdered dyes. Here in Canada at our Dollarama (dollar store) we have these powdered dyes and I just bought them and tried it and they work just like magicals. They only cost me 1.50$ CAD per 50g of powder.
Dhruvi Patel. Can something. Similar available in India
How beautiful!! And they look so fun! :D Are the colors permanent once they're dry, Marta?
I was wondering what set the dark purple came from and the baby blue eyes.
Thank you.
Are these water-soluble like Brushos are? Meaning if you go back over the top of them with a wet medium, will they re-activate?
Okay, I'm sold on these. Off to buy some now! I would love to know what color sets you have. Do you like the flat magicals?
what kind of paste works best with the magicals ?
Do you use all of the Magicals - flat AND shimmer ones? Do you use 1 type more than the other, if so, why? TIA!
Won't dipping into the powder with a wet brush damage the powder?
Thanks for sharing cool techniques, Do u have a little girl as when you filling water bottles,it seems a little girl comes in shot and then vanishes, made me jump lol
hehehe yes, I have 2 girls now :)
I hope you will find many more inspirations from my videos, including a brand new video added today !
