I've just heard of the Magicals and I'd like to say that this video explains them much better than any video I found on the Lindys channel. If I hadn't found your video, I wouldn't have given them a second chance. Thank you for this video, I'll now get some 🙂💚🇦🇺
Thank you so very much for sharing all this wonderful info & I can't wait for my products to arrive so that I can start trying all the different techniques that you shared! Thanks again, Lily & by the way, I also loved your fingernails done with the pink ribbon. I was diagnosed a little over 3 years ago with breast cancer & I feel so extremely blessed to be here today!!!
Thank you! I just purchased some magicals recently! I’m wondering, when I make an ink with the magicals, do they dry permanent or are they still soluble if water comes in contact with the dried ink?
Hi Patricia, I'd call them sem-permanent on paper, if they come in contact with enough water the ink will reactivate, but never be completely removable. If you've used them over acrylic paint they will move much more when re-wet. If you'd like to make sure they don't budge give them a quick coat of spray sealant, or workable fixative (or in a pinch hairspray). Just don't overwet while spraying or you may get a little feathering or bleeding depending on the surface. If at all worried, I use workable fixative just to be on the safe side :)
Thank you for taking the mystery out of magicals! I never realized how versatile they are! Can't wait to add them to my stash. Love your videos Kate. I buy everything you recommend! Hugs from Cathy in the USA.
Thank you so much for this....I just bought 2 sets of magicals but I didn't know all the other ways I could use them aside from mixing in texture pastes. Very helpful! :) ~~ Dana
Love watching your tutorials! You are an incredible artist! I have a quick question, which embossing powder are you using? My embossing powders seem to run when I use my Copics and watercolors... Frustrating :(

You need to use a Copic safe ink pad if the ink is running - test on scrap paper first
Very nice video!
