Thanks! A while ago when we planned a ride, we used to do a lot of research but often couldn't find the information we wanted. So we decided that our channel was more about providing ride information, which we hoped could help others who might be interested in riding similar routes. 👍
Thanks - yes, it's definitely worth making time for. Tyre wise, we have settled on the Mitas E07+. On our 4th rear and 2nd front and they seem to be working well enough for us, both on and off road.

It's ADV heaven all through that country mate, great route, yet another I must do - have crossed that general area many times and there's so much more to see. Will be going through a bit North of there next year on my big trip - back way from Retreat through to Warrabah N.P. - I just HAVE to check out the place Google Maps thinks I'm gonna cross the Namoi... It's basically impossible! Great video mate.
Looks exceptional. Thanks for putting your maps in accessible files ! That's very kind of you. It always feels a bit weird when you're going thru gates and past ppl's houses in the middle of their paddocks. We always feel like we're intruding a bit and shouldn't really be there😂

These are some of my local roads. I did a video of bungendore spur in the opposite direction recently. You should also try the bottom of Airlie Stock Route Rd, but dont borher with the top bit, as it''s much worse than Enfield Rd.
Thanks - We’ll check out your video 👍. Air lie Stock is part of the route we still have to do that I mentioned in the video. Thanks for tip on the top section - I think we are missing it on this planned route (below). Though now-days it seems Kingston Rd is closed to Retreat? We’d love to hear your opinion on the attached route; Kingston Rd to Retreat seems closed; www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1BvAjVPRiAagIN2769pqjFh9apSdboUo&usp=sharing
@@rideday01 G'day Dave. Yes some fantastic roads in there. Bonnay-Linton Rd is a good one as is Warrabah Rd (just be careful of the cows as you go through Warrabah Station). They are doing road works near the Retreat Bridge but you can get through to Retreat Rd from Kingston Rd on a weekend which would save you doubling back around and coming down Rowena Rd. This is according to the NSW Live Traffic website. The section of Airlie Stock Route you have is the good bit. The section of Airlie Rd that diverges off from Danehurst Rd has at least one very tricky creek crossing (Pringles Rocky Creek), not very wide but a quite steep exit which I don't recommend. Looking forward to seeing you on those roads. Regards, Phil.
Thanks, we had 2 rides via Bendemeer planned for the Saturday and chose the ride based on how much time we had left. This one was the short one - just over 200km. The other ride which headed out via the Airlie Stock Rte Rd was a little over 400km. The routes are mapped on this file in Drop Box; www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/qz8f2j1hjzceyto1otc4v/AFCkBoI0jjNyzYWYDncdafA?rlkey=wcyf0f968aqm3nu91ejdl1yfw&dl=0
Awesome ride guys. Thankyou again for taki9ng me to places I've not yet been. 🥰
Thanks, you'll have to add this one to your planning list 👍. This who area is pretty special.
Thank you for showing the route as a lot of vids don't.

Another great ride. Thanks. I would also like to know your current favourite tyres if possible please.

Thanks for the video , I like the low key informative style 👍

Pretty good ride for a casual half day one with no traffic! I didn’t see any rabbits, hares or kangaroos hopping around in the paddocks.
I guess it was a bit late start for the roos, but there were plenty of Cows and Sheep to make up for them.
Awesome
Great video
Thank you very much for sharing

Thanks - we really loved that ride and it suited our time available on that day.
LOOKS LIKE A GREAT RIDE
Thanks. Definitely is!

Excellent, thanks so much! Hopefully we make it back that way in January 👍.
