This is just FRIGHTENING. Having lived the Chernobyl disaster, even at a distance of 1000 miles, and certainly after Fukushima, I just cannot understand how ANYONE can take an atomic fallout, even if it's only represented in an animated cartoon, so lightly .

true but in this AU Brendam Bey Blast would be more of a disaster, chernobyl would be like another nuclear powerplant accident, yet sodor will have a more bigger impact on the world since an entire island in a highly populated area was hitalong with trains, so your correct yet but it wont be treated as a amajor event, just another powerplant explosion.
I aint gonna lie, this is more emotionally impactful than having it being written down.

The thing is I had trouble telling what was edited parts of the show and what was made in Trainz! Atleast that's what I think it was, and hearing voices for the first time was fun
Wow, I'm amazed with how good this looks. The editing is stunning and it gives off a very dark vibe.
I recommend doing a scene where you literally see mutation forming. For example, Gordon. His pupils start to melt down to the bottom of his face and his mouth just slowly starts to disappear from end to end. Another example for good recommendations, do mysterious shots of BoCo pulling into the yard and having bill and Ben in the foreground with their faces covered. Then when the time comes and the dialogue is finished, they pull up side to side with one moaning and one muffling. Ending with the entire scene showing the front of the three ending with 3 screams. BoCo, and the crew. I might reply to this later for some tips in the future.
James - After he leaves you see text of some storyline about James after he left and when it goes away, suddenly cut to James like a jump scare.
Thomas - Try considering this. Edward passes tidmouth sheds and gets some coal and water. He heard a distorted whistle and then Thomas pulls up with sad music playing with Thomas crying. They talk about storyline and Edward leaves feeling really sad.
Oliver - Oliver pulls a special train and he says he feels funny. toad asks what’s the matter and there is no reply. “Oliver? Oliver? Oliver!?” Says toad and then like James suddenly cut to Oliver with a leech like face. The driver and fireman jump out while the guard uncouples toad and jumps out. They all run leaving toad where he is slowing down. They hurry into a shed and stay for a while. Then dialogue about Oliver comes with the shed doors slamming open witch Oliver crashing through them.
Trevor - Dialogue about the call from Jem Cole then showing the orchard near the shed slowly panning towards Trevor showing his LONG NECK and then suddenly a blackout with a gunshot sound following.

If you look closely enough at the nameplate, the Scottish Twin that Edward passed was Donald, which means he and Douglas likely had swapped tenders for the day. Probably the result of losing a bet or something.

I am currently doing a play for my A levels about Chernobyl, although this is a piece of fiction, it has helped me understand the fear of the situation, at first I thought this was going to be some kind of Shed 17, but it appears that it is an audio story, the radio announcement was superb, the acting, the distorted audio, I was on the edge of my seat and I eagerly await the next part
And then, we have Americans celebrating 4th of July, while people on Sodor are having a near death experience.
Not only is there a mutating blast but there's also a beast killing everyone, wow.

You know, originally I was just going to watch this and get rid of it from my history... but after thinking for a bit, I decided against that. Epic video, I have been looking into Sodor fallout a bit so it’s nice to see this on Halloween.

I know this is a year ago but I love the fact that Edward was able to beat the speed of a sound wave. Obviously Edward would never been able to in real life (I know nothing about trains but will safely assume a old steam train would probably reach maybe speeds of 70 or 100mph.

Those sirens.. are just amazing. What I can hear in the video are: Federal Signal 2T22's, SD-10's, model 5/7T, and an ACA something. Rare for the UK, but common in the US.

while i was wacthing this i got several chills down my spine one from the explosion and the second from the shockwave this like chernobly disaster in 1968 but more cooler
The radio broadcast was a really nice addition to this adaptation and really creates an even stronger feeling of uneasiness and uncertainty. Nothing is really said beyond the obvious and it really makes the dread you feel as well as the sound of chatter in the station from all the people there. This is gearing up to be an excellent adaptation and I'm excited to see what is added to what is already written and any new content you have to throw in.
Not to mention, there is a nice reference in the radio broadcast. Dr. Bailey's assistants are named Dr. Middleton and Dr. Dalby, a reference to William Middleton and C. Reginald Dalby, two illustrators of The Railway Series.
