I believe turning on VBI skip in dolphin helps a lot with the performance in some GameCube games. Also make sure you are using the vulkan backend. Great review man
Just tried turning on VBI skip and I can definitely a locked 60 for most of the time on Smash bros with an occasional drop to 55 fps. Unfortunately on Brawl, using Vulvan makes half the screen flicker black still. Problem is not present in OpenGL but performance decreases. Will continue messing with it. Glad, i thought i'm the only one that got different white color shell (little bit yellowish) tone,compared to the buttons and d-pad 😅 it's weird why anbernic not making the pure white shell?? 🤦♂
It's not little seen its cost, in this amount, easily a vita could come or 10USD more and you get beast RG556/ RP4, it's not worth for the cost, for the form factor RGB 30 would be right choice and for android the pocket2s is unbeatable for what it does. For PSP, PS2, Wii and GameCube look and play bad in this aspect ratio, this only is good for all 2d systems before PS1, DS and 3DS mainly.
@@wyldelf2685 yes 1. modd vita takes about 5 mins or so, 2. be lazy very lazy and download psp pack for vita so everything comes together in 128gb including retroarch and all PS and below games preconfigured, so now you have retroarch which also can be installed standalone easily 3. from DB manager install plugins "ds3vita" or "ds4vita" which ever controller DualShock 3 and 4 you may want to use. rest of the steps same connect, assign and off you go

I get what you’re saying. I semi agree but the Vita for me is more for PS1, SNES, NES, and PSP. I mainly use mine for PS1, PSP, and Vita. I am looking in the RP4+ so stay tuned for my thoughts on that. Thanks for watching!

yes its android its easily done from 1. add Bluetooth device 2. retro arch app assign controller a player to controller in settings
