Hey Steve, looking to fly my T-28 1.1m for the first time with fpv this weekend. Any tips/warnings regarding first time fpv flight? I'm most concerned about landing.
@@jessdyba Are you using a flight controller or are you using the Spektrum BNF receiver that came with your plane? If your using the Spektrum receiver, do one of two things if this is your first time flying FPV like this. Put your plane in Safe so you can pull your goggles off and then land your plane line of sight. Or land your plane in Safe mode. The E-Flite T-28 Trojan 1.1m doesn’t have flaps so it can be very floaty on landing. I think you are going to have zero issues either way you go. If you decide to just land full on FPV, just keep your eyes on the horizon as you are coming in to land. Don’t watch the ground watch the horizon. Good luck and if you post your video let us know so we can watch it!
Good flight pilot! I enjoy that flight. looked like a hawk was out with you.
Thanks! A hawk and several buzzards. 😄
Great flight!

@@salisburyrc Thanks! Using the spektrum bnf receiver, so will land with safe.
@@jessdyba Great! You’re going to love this way of flying RC!
Came in a bit too high on landing so was a bit hard, but in 1 piece so I'd call it a success.
@@jessdyba Me too! Congrats on your FPV maiden!
