@@NightLunaLia uh...the last third of the movie? it was all about the consequences of the trial and how the flowers start dying, needing the bees to come back and continue pollinating. it was weird but it definitely showed that bees are very important in nature
this was one of my favorite movies growing up, and i was never really afraid of bees after watching it. Learned their importance too. HOWEVER, watching it as an adult I realized how weird it actually was. like srsly ken really lost his girl to a freakin bee. I feel for him.
As corny as this movie is, you can tell, even through all the voice acting, that the actors are having fun. That's in large part due to the fact that Seinfeld gathered many of his friends together in the voice roles. They had to stop recording a lot because Jerry Seinfeld laughed so hard at everyone saying their lines. Especially when Patrick Warburton did his yelling lines.
I love how all the female bees have beehive hairstyles, and all the males have buzz cuts. That's freaking genius. This movie is downright insane at times, but the nostalgia and meme value make it very enjoyable!
You can't help but feel sorry for Vanessa's boyfriend, as much of a douche as he is. I'd be pretty peeved too if my girlfriend up and left me for a freaking BEE, of all things! 😂🐝
Ah. So you've made it to the ultimate cinema culture. There is no film like it and I honestly think of so many scenes on a random whim. It's crazy and entertaining to look at and who doesn't love the BEEstiality romance plot line. They went hard on this
Evem though this movie is an absolute fever dream, you gotta give it credit for playing it straight. Like a comedian doing an aboslutely *absurd* bit ,but *never* breaking character. It helps that it does have some comedic gems here and there.
The fact there’s Fan Fiction about Ladies and Bees thanks to this movie along with Jerry Seinfeld zipping across the Cannes Film Festival in a Bee Costume is ✨PEAK CINEMA✨
I'm going to be real and I'll have to disagree with the Nostalgia Critic's arguments on the humor of _Bee Movie_ not being funny, but I say the humor and the comedy in _Bee Movie_ were hilarious, never have I laughed my butt off at some scenes and jokes that either I get as a kid, and other jokes that went way over my head until I understood the context of these jokes when I got older. Easily the courtroom scene when Adam stung the lawyer played by John Goodman in the butt, I laughed my ass off completely. However, I am going to have to also disagree with Doug Walker/The Nostalgia Critic’s opinion on the movie’s story being "great”, because the story….while not terrible, but it was all over the place and compared to most of the plots for the majority of the animated movies from DreamWorks Animation it’s hard to tell what story it was trying to tell for Bee Movie, because it was jumping all over the place from one point to another. Think about it, the first act was Barry not wanting to be a bee throughout his life and wants to explore outside the hive, then the 2nd act of the film switches to a forbidden romance/friendship between Barry (a bee) and Vanessa (who’s a human), then the 3rd act switches to Barry suing the humans because "we stole their honey” leading to a court case to which the bees win, then the 4th act switches to Barry and Vanessa saving the dying earth because of lack of pollination to find any flowers to re-pollinate the earth after Barry’s screw up of having all the honey returning back to the bee hive, So literally, I wasn’t a fan of the story for _Bee Movie,_ however I would watch this over _TURBO_ and _Boss Baby_ since the humor and the voice cast were the highlights and saving grace of the film.
At the end of the day, it's just a movie to enjoy for its ridiculousness. That being said, I'm not sure how it jumps all over the place? It has like one major jump. In your own rundown, acts one and two go together fine, and acts three and four go together fine. It's just somewhat of a jump in between.

"Bees shouldn't be able to fly because they're not aerodynamic enough" is because aerodynamics work a lot differently at the scale of a bee. When you're that small air molecules are like 500 times larger compared to you now, and as a result the air feels a lot denser, akin to a thin syrup. So when a bee beats its wings they act more like the paddles in a rowboat than the wings on a bird; it would be more accurate to describe insects as swimming through the air.

😂I'm so sorry to all the people who still think this movie talk about BEES.🐝🐝The answer to the title is GENIUS cause this movie is ironical and parodistic and nobody understand that when this was released. The same creators of shrek worked at this. And is amazing GENIAL,all the refences to the society inside it are amazing, and also all the jokes.
This was one of my fav movies as a child (I was obsessed with the date scene and hated the human boyfriend lol). I never though it was weird. Then I grew up and a lot people thought it was strange and I realized it really was....lol
The thing is, it's a perfect model of discrimination. Kids tend not to discriminate much, because there hasn't been enough time for society to infuse its views in them. Is a human-bee relationship weird? yeah, in our world, because bees are insects. It doesn't take much explanation. But this is a world where bees a basically just bee-shaped humans. In that context, there is no reason that it should be considered weird, except when discrimination is applied. I think it's a very interesting look into our nature and tendency towards discriminating when faced with something that challenges our understanding of what is acceptable. Suffice it to say, I didn't take issue with the relationship when I watched it as a kid, and I still don't.
I watched this movie with my nephews a week ago and I started wondering when you guys would react to this since you've watched Kung Fu Panda recently guess today's the day
I think the funniest part is even after the whole plane fiasco everyone is waiting for the second they turn off the fasten seatbelt sign to stand up and not move anywhere
I actually think this movie would've been a great one if it didn't try to please two audience at the same time. If it stuck with the more adult themes of it all i.e. didn't make the "villains" so over the top, let the main conflict (environmental issues) be more serious and actually let the jokes speak for themselves then it wouldn't feel as silly or corny.
Great reaction! This movie is definitely pun royalty in its own right. Idk if anyone has mentioned this fan theory, but it seems that Vanessa is Mrs. Benson from iCarly and the reason she’s so protective of Freddie is because his dad was Barry the bee and got smushed eventually. If you want another funny insect film I have to recommend The Ant Bully. 🐝👩🏻🌻🍯💛🖤
What is your favorite insect??
Butterfly 🦋
I think the dragonfly is my favorite insect. water monster as a child, flying menace as a grown up.
Probably the praying mantis. They're pretty badass and always look so inquisitive.
Probably butterflies or ladybirds, it's a tough decision! 🦋🐞

The same creators of shrek worked at this. And is amazing GENIAL,all the refences to the society inside it are amazing, and also all the jokes.
One of those air traffic control guys sounded like Kramer for a second
@@peterlewis2178 this was interesting to read. I also still don't take issue with the relationship
"Fern Gully"
"Gargoyles Awakening"
Hopefully their turn will come soon!
There are three things we need most in this world to thrive. I call it the three e’s.
Trees
Seas
And bees
I watched this movie with my nephews a week ago and I started wondering when you guys would react to this since you've watched Kung Fu Panda recently guess today's the day
I think the funniest part is even after the whole plane fiasco everyone is waiting for the second they turn off the fasten seatbelt sign to stand up and not move anywhere
if you didnt know... Gordon Sumner is the real name of artist STING :D
This is definitely one of my guilty pleasure movies 😂. I hope you guys consider watching Shark Tale.
Barry's a Bee.
He's just Ken.
WASN'T THAT THE BEAR FROM OVER THE HEDGE???
Ken is the only sane character in this movie and I love it
I actually think this movie would've been a great one if it didn't try to please two audience at the same time.
🐝👩🏻🌻🍯💛🖤
I don't care, this movie is hilarious in a non ironic way.
