Loved it xxxx thanks for such a lovely rendition ❤️
She’s talkin’ about Nanci Griffith who wrote the song ❤️ “our children live in the city and they rest upon our shoulders, they never want the rain to fall, or the weather to get colder” ❤️
One of the greatest....From Colm Redmond Cashel CONNAMARA
wow, still sounds the same as I remember her when she was a young woman in Ireland, sad we lost her to the states, she will always be remembered in irish folk music with love
This is a very beautiful heartfelt performance of this lovely song.
Maura's voice is so beautiful and pure. I could listen to her sing the obitd.
I love this song, and the whole CD was great! I like Helpless Heart, Western Highway--great music, great voice!!
Beautiful Maura as always
To Nashville High: the name of the fiddler is Andrea Zonn, with an "n," not Audrea. She's a legend in Nashville and beyond, having played with Lyle Lovett, Vince Gill, and for the last eight years, James Taylor. Thanks in advance for fixing it.
Wonderful!
Oh wow Maura. Saw you on the Transatlantic Sessions. I am now hopelessly in love with you. Adore your music, your politics and come to think of it you.. Thanks. Paul
Jeez, I thought she'd never stop TALKING! But it is a lovely song and she does a great job of singing it ...
Really really really amazingly wonderful.. I've been to see Maura so many times live and I missed her when she moved to the States but proud of her also that time she was nominated for the Grammy ( I think she should have won, I like Bonnie Raite but Maura has the better voice). Anyway I still love listening to her. Thank you Maura
