      No doubt about it, SY now owes you a hefty discount. I’m quite sure many many phone calls will be generated from other yacht 🛥 owners for their refit. Nick did a wonderful job editing the before and after look 👀. Simply beautiful. 1.75 million 💵 yacht 🛥 now. 💥

    I don't own a boat and I have never owned a boat. At 86, relatively poor and not too mobile, I expect not to ever own a boat. Despite those restrictions, I regularly indulge myself in the fantasy of owning a boat such as this and am an avid follower of your yacht tours. Thank you and keep them coming Nick.

    The layouts on these old boats usually nail the basics. As a designer myself, I cannot emphasize how core the layout is to a living vessel (house or yacht).
    This is the first time I’ve seen a VIP guest cabin in the hull that I actually think is very practical.
    Great 1 Nick!

    • @thecocktailian2091
      @thecocktailian2091 Рік тому

      I concur, 99% of the time they blunder the layouts. Impractical and poor use of space. While its never going to be perfect, this is a good example of a proper layout.

    Nick, hi. Brilliant tour. I've seen the SETAG short video of this and I was quite impressed at the time, but your tour brought the boat to life and showed it in it's full glory. In fact I have watched most of this video twice now, as my wife popped in and asked to see the saloon and accommodation, I think she was quite impressed. "Absolutely beautiful" was her comment. She gave the engines a miss though. This is a lovely boat given a superb and sympathetic makeover by SETAG to bring it bang up to date and I hope the owners have many happy years of cruising with it. Well done to SETAG and thank you too for an enjoyable and thought provoking tour. 👍👍👍.

    Very good beautiful refit. Well done with not falling in jumping back to port haha. Seriously though, what a way to colour scheme a yacht interior as inspired by a lovely picture. If more designers of things did that kind of thing, maybe buildings would be nicer too :) So good.

  • @DanFrederiksen
    @DanFrederiksen 2 роки тому

    Big change, fairly believable renewal. The light wood is far more compatible than the very saturated woods often used around 2000, otherwise they would have had to change a lot. Interior design sensibilities is what changes the most over time. It is a big task to change such a large product completely so it runs up against what newer yacht you can buy for the same money.
    In such a renewal process I'd like to see they dare tackle making cabin windows bigger. That's among the more noticeable differences over the years. Small porthole windows is a vastly different experience that large rectangles and it should not be that hard to do I'd think.

  • @wings9925

    That's a spectacular renovation, and has made a wonderful boat. Congrats to the designers and owners for making something a world away from ox-blood leather and saggy linings. About the only thing I'd change would be to knock the glossy woodwork back to a satin, but its so much nicer with less wood on show.

And my other point is that those bathrooms are just not compatible guest VIP v owner, and those fans need changing ASAP. Final point is I suppose Ms K Hoppen has to do some work

    What an excellent refit of a yacht that was clearly worthy of it! And as always, a great tour by Nick! I loved the movie-scene-after-the-credits style of your leap to the pontoon!
    One question: is there no provision for a tender? No garage, clearly, but also no davits, no crane, and no mention of a high-low bathing platform. Is the equipment yet to be installed/re-installed? It seems an odd omission on a yacht this size.

      It's a high/low platform 1:00

    Such a stellar job on the revamp. Helps that it had good bones to work with and I’ve got to say a brilliant layout. Hats off to Setag… and also Sunseeker for a build worthy of the refit…
