    I’ve had the A119 for a while. So far so good. My only close calls are (usually) 4 wheelers merging onto a highway. That’s why God had someone invent the AIRHORN 😂

    Drove 18 wheeler for 15 years and due to medical conditions I can't drive truck no more. I wish many times I had a dash cam on semi due to crazy 4 wheelers but now days I think everyone should have a dash cam.

      Everyone seems to be in a hurry today. As a professional driver, you know what your equipment can-or-can't do safely, we just wish others would learn the same!

    Based on one of your videos we purchased the Viofo A119V3 and have used it for the last 8 months and we love it. I hardwired in to the truck (we have a bumper pull) so I don't even touch it. It starts when I turn on the key and shuts off a couple minutes after I turn the truck off. I use the GPS/speed feature. The picture resolution is great. I am glad we got it.

    We have 2 dash cams, one facing forward and the other covering the rear. We had someone hit our coach while getting fuel. The video came in handy when we sent a copy into the insurance company
    Thankfully the guy that hit us too. Full responsibility

    Yikes. I agree that was sooooo close. I'm gonna reconsider a dash cam. We have a rear camera and are looking to add side cameras so I think the dash cam would be like icing on the cake. As always thanks for sharing. Wishing you Safe travels.

    I have 3 dashcams
    One in the front of the motorhome, one in the dash of the Jeep, and one in the rear window of the Jeep.
    They run all the time we are on the road.

    Thanks so much for the review Jim
    We have been looking at dash cams ever since we got the Pete...this spring
    And if it comes with 2 mounts...that's bonus, we would put the 2nd mount in the car.
    As a city bus transit operator, we really understand the value and safety of them.
    Safe travels 😊

    I agree that was a close call. Glad that there was no accident. That dash looks like it does come in handy. Glad have those dash cams. Thank you Jim for showing which one us better to get and for showing them. Hope you and Kelly have a great weekend and week. See you next week.

    I like having the dash cam. I got the A119 because of your video some time back. now I have upgraded to the a129 pro with the rear camera. I like that one very good. I agree that people need a dash cam. Happy camping and safe travels from NE GA Lake Hartwell

    I have the A129 Pro Duo 4K+ . I also have the Bluetooth remote control mounted on the dash so it don’t have to reach all the way under the rear view mirror to save the event. And have it hardwired . And I agree it is a little complicated to set up .

    Hey, 4k will allow you more data so you can see images that 1080p looks blurry. Like lic. Tags.

    The reason I don’t like following an RV or semi is that it blocks my view of the road ahead. I like to see what’s going on down the road.

    • @SuiteTravels
      @SuiteTravels  10 місяців тому

      We don't disagree...but it you pass an RV just to get to the exit ahead and slam on the brakes, then it's dangerous for all involved!

      We use the A139 in the truck and the A119 in the car Stephen. Once we got the settings where we wanted them via the smartphone, the A139 is working great.

    I hate this camera. How do I get it to record a clip longer in a few seconds? Or just one long video for the time

    • @SuiteTravels
      @SuiteTravels  9 місяців тому

      You can set the clip length in the settings, but it won't give one clip for a drive because it would get too hot.

    Please be very careful not do delete files that could be relevant in a court of law. If you have a dashcam and delete a file, in a court of law that could be considered spoliation of evidence. A jury can be instructed to presume that the video evidence would have hurt your case and that is why it was destroyed, even if it could have proven beyond a reasonable doubt that you are innocent. If the video shows you are at fault, don't delete the evidence. There may be an opportunity in court to explain it away, but if you delete it you are presumed guilty.
    Also, the metadata (timestamps, ownership, location, camera model, lens, exposure settings, etc) contained within the original file can be key to proving the validity of a recording in court. Playing it back and recording it locally on another device may loose that critical metadata.

    Yeah, so it happened in the beginning of the video let’s not do that again and I must give me a heart attack and I’m sitting on a couch in an apartment building that was a bit much for me
