For someone, who may not have had a big presence before this, you're doing quite well with your channel. You obviously took Cleeters advice. Hope it serves you well beyond this project.😊
Of all the youtube channels building cars, you guys have some of the best fabrication, loved seeing that guys build the A arms, he is really talented. This whole team is
I agree %100, Each one of them is a different encyclopedia of information, people like that are priceless, and their a dying breed, people who learned and know from years of experience not just watching some videos and winging it
There's always a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy who can weld anything to anything. The mysterious known guy. He does everything. Dude stacks dimes everywhere. Absolute legend.
I'm listening to you talk about the specifics of the rear wing and how it helps the aerodynamics. I'm sure it's mostly true. I wonder how much you've ever tested. I'm remembering when Cletus took Leroy into a wind tunnel. I could imagine he would be easily convinced to do it with this car and you could learn something from it. You might wanna talk to him about that.😊
Troys attention to detail makes me rethink every bit of my targa race car build I’ve been on for a year or so….the many hours of dialling in the rear of the car is show car quality race tech….total pro
Love to see the craftsmanship from the older gentlemen. Hopefully you have some guys in training to replace them when they retire. Enjoying the videos.
Luv the mullet Cameron. I think when you do these Friday videos Danny and yourself should wear them. Troy can let his flow naturally. So looking forward to the next content.
I love watching this kind of video. I used to do a lot of fab work and really miss working with metal and carbon. Theres something magical about seeing the finished product of your labor. Good job guys.
I was watching a video from FUEL TECH yesterday where they had pretty much the same car as you are building for Cleeter. It was on the hub Dino and made 5362.6 HP to the rear wheels. After watch that car make that pull, I see why your crew takes so much time and effort on every single piece you put into the chassis. That Proline hemi tried its best to tear it apart. The owner will be back in Florida in December to run it in the drags. McFarland racing is going to have run hard to get in front of that car.
13:32 LMAO the inch and an eighth notcher!!! Love you guys for asking my question, thank you No struts in the center of the wing is gonna look clean, you guys think of everything I always learn something on every CJRC video, thanks for taking the time
A lot of my friends I raced with always told me looks don’t matter it’s a race car but looks are important to me. There cars were quick but looked like sh-t boxes my car was quick but I could also show up to a car show! Great job guys your banging it out won’t be long now.
You got some really talented guys. You can tell that they would prefer not to be bothered, but as soon as you get them to explain what they are doing they shine. Their passion comes out while theyre talking. Really talented Thanks for getting them to talk
I've already peeped those fuel tech injectors. Now question is will cleet have ft go for the the dyno record when this car is inevitably on their dyno? We all know he saw them post the ft dyno record yesterday and his mouth started watering lol.. And that wasn't even the the MH7, 5300+hp out of the MH6. This thing is gonna MOVE.
I was blessed to have a great father and father figures in my life, but the people who get Danny and Troy as father figures even more so. I hope the young men in their lives are aware and value just how lucky they are to have such cool, calm and collected men willing and able to share their wealth of experience. You have a great crew but those two guys in my opinion are very special and rare.
A shop full of highly skilled individuals taking pride in their work, whilst also taking the time out of their work day to talk us through the reasoning behing their craft. Years of knowledge gained through hands on labour, being shared right here. Keep up the awesome work.
I would have to say , the processes you use are by far the best way to do a car, just perfect results. Yall go above and beyond in all you do. Awesome job on eagle.
I know the questions seem ridiculous some times, however thank you for still taking the time to answer. Many of us haven't seen anyone do what you do and the in depth way you are showing us, we are learning.
You guys do amazing work and are an awesome team. Now I want to go back and rewatch the previous videos to see all the planning and decisions made then that we can see now. Keep the videos coming!
I really like these friday question chats ! Thank you guy for answering them If i think of a good one i'll be sure to ask as i'm retired & just enjoy all the info & tricks that is shared & hope some day i'll run across someone that needs help on figuring something out & i can give them what i learned from here !
I wish I had just a 1/4 of the skill and knowledge that the guys in that shop have. You all are amazing craftsmen! What you all do is pure art. Beautiful work gentlemen.
The firewall and rear end of Eagle are beautiful examples of top notch fabrication! You guys are building a beautiful car cant wait to see it painted or wrapped!
once you have the whole thing tacked together (well) any induced heat distortion actually strengthens the chassis because it puts everything under tension. it's a beautiful thing really.
I have pretty much purposely held back on commenting on any of the videos y'all have put out on this build give maybe one or two complements early on of Danny's work ethic of, its right or we aint welding that in there. I really expected to see Cleet drop a video one day saying"Well guys we have had Tye really busy behind the scenes and he has completed the chassis for the new BADASS HOT ROD!" Glad he went with your guys to build this thing for him. Kudos to you CJ for finding the older experienced talent that you have in Danny and Troy and backing it up with young guys who can do it all but still stop to learn from master craftsmen in their profession with the patients and love of the job to pass it on to deserving and willing younger craftsmen that want to learn everything. No doubt they will be the backbones of your business one day. Great job to all of you.
That heat sink issue is a very good point keeping it all as cool as possible is probably going to pay huge dividends in the long term. 40 hrs afor welding seems like it should be very low.
Until I watched Cleetus' new video about bringing Leroy to your shop, I had no idea where you guys shop was. Turns out I heard Cleetus say Lakeland and I hit the internet, and you guys are only 3-4 miles from my house in the same zipcode. Do you guys allow visitors? I am so shook we are are so close in the same zipcode and I watching all this great content being filmed minutes away. Love everything you guys are doing.
Everything looks great! Can't wait to see it go over 200mph! Question, Why bump out the firewall on the passenger side? Esthetics to look balanced? Seems like it would save time and hassle to have the bump out on the driver side only.
The attention to tall lil details is wat makes yall one of the best names out there to build race cars. Straight up factz there not my opinion either. Yall are really up there n name gets around 💯 no cap 🧢
21:02 - Big difference between brazing and welding. One would NEVER braze a work piece that needs to withstand strong forces working against it and to be structually safe. Brazing two different metals together is possible, but would usually be reserved for plumbing and perhaps HVAC. Brazed joints CANNOT withstand anywhere near the strength thresholds that MIG and TIG welding would produce. Could the titanium firewall be brazed and be safe? Technically yes, perhaps with a silicon bronze filler rod, but not worth the risk to find out you're wrong at 200 mph or during a red hot fire in the engine bay.
Fuel tech just had a proline twin turbo setup on their dyno, do believe same trans as eagle it did 5361hp to the hub with more to still be given to the tune up! Thing was an absolute animal! Can't wait to see eagle making dyno pulls!!
You quickly realise these guys are artists and these cars are their masterpieces they’re not material they are part of them and emotional attachment to them a love for their work and a desire to be proud of what they produce
Who’s ready to see “Eagle” on the ground rolling soon? 😎
I can't wait
Last time I went "eagle" I was rolling, on the ground
Hell yeah!!! Tighten up and get it done!!
HELL YEAH BROTHER !!
Hell yeah!!!
This might be favorite channel right now, y'all are killing it.💪
Let’s go 💪🏻
I'm with you bro 100% 👍👍👍
For someone, who may not have had a big presence before this, you're doing quite well with your channel. You obviously took Cleeters advice. Hope it serves you well beyond this project.😊
Of all the youtube channels building cars, you guys have some of the best fabrication, loved seeing that guys build the A arms, he is really talented. This whole team is
Lucky to have an awesome team for sure
These guys and Morgan Clarke Design are the only high end fabrication channels I’ve come across. Really good stuff on both.
@graemefrench6841 KSRKevin is just as good. He's just ONE man.
Steve Morris is also one of the best, he's a British royal engineer
@@llamacebu216 Steve Morris is great, I’ll have to check out KSR Kevin.
I could listen to theses guys tech talk all day every day. Absolute masters of their craft
Fabrication of this car is beautiful. You guys are like artist.
Not like...they are. Except their art goes 200 mph and has to keep you alive in case of disaster
Cleanest deck lid ever now i get it love the little attentions to details cant wait to see this rip
Thank you. Troy is the man with that stuff
Downforce is important because some of us seen that fuel tech tech video with the same setup blowing past 5k hp
I was wondering if someone would bring that up.
That thing was nasty!
Yes sir
@@j0sh707nasty is the right word. Holy moly brother. That had to be 5,400 + at the crank. Am I wrong?
@@tenman7242 Probably around 6,000hp at the crank.
Can’t wait to see Eagle fly!!
Umm...hopefully it stays on the ground.
You might wanna talk to him about that.😊
Not a bad ifea
It may go without saying he's gonna have to put the new body kit for Leroy into the wind tunnel. He might as well make it a 2 fer day.
level of detail and craftmanship is 10/10 💪
CJ your guys are badazz they explain what they are doing for anyone who knows a little about racecars can understand.
Troys attention to detail makes me rethink every bit of my targa race car build I’ve been on for a year or so….the many hours of dialling in the rear of the car is show car quality race tech….total pro
I remember seeing Troy working on Mullet (Cleets rocket car era) years ago. His car body building and sheet metal knowledge is incredible.
Love to see the craftsmanship from the older gentlemen. Hopefully you have some guys in training to replace them when they retire. Enjoying the videos.
Fly Eagle Fly……Up Up to the Sky!!!!! What a work of art. Your guys are truly artists…..Kudos…
Luv the mullet Cameron.
I think when you do these Friday videos Danny and yourself should wear them. Troy can let his flow naturally. So looking forward to the next content.
I came from Cletus’s channel and now I watch these videos before I watch his. Top tier shop and content.
Thanks for coming over to check it out 💪🏻
I love watching this kind of video. I used to do a lot of fab work and really miss working with metal and carbon. Theres something magical about seeing the finished product of your labor. Good job guys.
Love the Question and Answer part too!!
Eagle is a work of art , so very nice to see skilled fabricators at work. The Q &A sessions are great. Many thanks.
Amazing fitment on both ends, Troys five weeks were worth every minute, amazing work!
That's one choice head of lettuce during the Q&A there. Love the knowledge session. 😎
😅
CJs wig has me dying! 😂😂😂
Just right now got caught up with the two golf cart videos I missed. Perfectly timed.

That wig reminds of a lead singer from a band in Canada. Triumph is the name of em'
That firewall is nuts dan
The wing is gonna look sick painted
That aluminum wing is just a template for a carbon wing.
I hope you have a flock of apprentices learning off the grey beards.. Priceless experience right there & a dying breed.
You guys are so lucky doing what you’re doing. And what it seems like. Having all the tools you need to do the job.
13:32 LMAO the inch and an eighth notcher!!!
Love you guys for asking my question, thank you
No struts in the center of the wing is gonna look clean, you guys think of everything
I always learn something on every CJRC video, thanks for taking the time

Builds like this one belongs in a museum so people can appreciate true art. Great job to CJ racecars.
You guys are artists with metal.. absolutely amazing build quality
I love this episode you should do more of these!

Facts u can't find real hard work men nowadays n ppl that's gonna do work like its there own car so u know it's gonna be done right
Anyone that has done metal fab work can appreciate the skill showcased in this build. Sick work 👏

These Guy's do fabulous work! Big Respect
New editor is very good. Video flow is great, the removal of dead air in the past few videos has been very noticeable.
Definitely really liking what he’s doing
I wish I had just a 1/4 of the skill and knowledge that the guys in that shop have. You all are amazing craftsmen! What you all do is pure art. Beautiful work gentlemen.
That was my question the other week about missing welds. Appreciate the follow up.👍🏼👍🏼
Master fabbers, I could listen to them all day long.

The craftsmanship is unbelievable, literally a work of art🔥🏁
Lots of real world knowledge crammed into that shop. Good stuff man
Man, this metal fabrication is dope. Cleetus’s helicopter is just about as complex. Nice work guys!
Great attention to detail from the entire crew! Could you have Taylor and Andrew go over the welder setups and settings???
That firewall with the curves and bends makes it look on another level 👌
thanks for the share cjrc.
Thanks for watching
Awesome episode!! Thanks for sharing!!
Can't wait to click on the video and Danny greets us with a hello and a mullet!!!
I'm ready ❤❤
I can't stress enough how awesome these videos are we are literally getting to hear inside information on building race cars
That heat sink issue is a very good point keeping it all as cool as possible is probably going to pay huge dividends in the long term. 40 hrs afor welding seems like it should be very low.

Solid episode. The Q&A is a great segment! I found some cool colors for the shop car on UA-cam- Lamborghini paint colors.👍
Which lambo colors? Definitely a few that I like
Everything looks great! Can't wait to see it go over 200mph! Question, Why bump out the firewall on the passenger side? Esthetics to look balanced? Seems like it would save time and hassle to have the bump out on the driver side only.
At least cj grew his mullet out!
😅😂
The Angle of the Dangle! YES
Man the attention to deal is fantastic! Its gonna look sick
The attention to tall lil details is wat makes yall one of the best names out there to build race cars. Straight up factz there not my opinion either. Yall are really up there n name gets around 💯 no cap 🧢
Another Great Video #CJRC
