League mechanic is super fun for me, but the rewards, time it takes to be able to run it, and how long it actually takes are really poorly done. Hopefully a good update soonish
If you could enter it every map or so. Would be great. If if it went up in the increments they wanted AFTER you made it to Day 15 each time. But the way it is now, is trash.
@@Gooba03yeah, the entrance price is way overtuned. If they change it to something like current Delve in PoE (it had same problem as Mistville), it will feel much better. For example, 100/run will be great (9 runs per full meter).
its clear that the mechanic is balanced around the endgame passives you unlock with intel, rather than mindlessy increasing rewards and lowering difficulty, i would much rather they would double the intel you get in lower levels, so the transition is much much smoother, if you read the buffs you unlock, you realize that you can triviliaze it in the endgame
@@Gooba03it gives one random "old stuff" and lower sanity costs for things + quantity. I was pretty consistently doing day 7-8, but the entrance cost is ridiculous (it takes 15 eyes at 3FE/each, so 45FE without farming for it).
the league mechanic is honestly just annoying for me atm. i want to just blast maps with an awesome build might change my mind later if they buff it. 03:00 i sold them for 3.4 :D
This is a weird season so far I was really looking forward towards the new updates to existing systems > Update to crafting I'm not a big fan of, even if it's easier to get okay gear, but I haven't delved deep into it yet. > Removal of Rhythm as an already unlocked skill, and locking every automation behind the league mechanic is... interesting, given what they said during the patch note video was that they wanted people to not have to worry as much about activating everything (or whatever they said exactly, you get what I mean). > The Netherrealm update is cool though, I really like it. Last season was my favorite, so at least I can cruise on Dreamtalking copium still. > New leveling is great. > Updates to existing classes are pretty damn cool, especially what they did with the hero relics. The minigame in-between actually playing the game is funny at first, but then I just want to get to drop activation mediums, so that's not very fun personally. Don't care about the rewards beyond that, hell I even started SSF, but now I'm glad I switched, but I won't keep playing this season in its current state. The game didn't have these walls last season, so it's jarring to have them now.
Rewards for league mechanic are trash, but it's the only way to get the new automation skills, which are ultra rare. It should also cap out at 100 cost to get in. It's a fun mechanic, and the skills which were a big selling point of the league, should be less rare.
They're hard to get and have huge range. Imagine getting one that's Use at 25% and it be worth nothing. They should have added the mediums to the skill shop. With advanced versions from the league mechanic
Guys i'm new to TL and just started during late Twinnightmare season, now my character is in permanent server and I want to focus still on that character, are there any downsides to that? Should i just keep grinding or create new characters every season change?
Do whatever's fun for you, but the majority of ARPG regulars do a fresh start each season. Play for a couple weeks, build up your character, get bored, move on to the next ARPG's season. Rinse, repeat.
They did a bapance patch today, let's see how good it becomes now, still the amount of waiting vs reward is completely off compared to all previous mechanics
Yeh getting 300 takes so long and i didn't see a single one over 10 yet thanks to rng (unlocked 17 points so far) really wish they double the amount you get in t7/t8 or just lower the cost by half
300 would be fine, after the first time that you cleared and got a good medium that sold for a lot! Jokes aside, 300 is way too much. If it increased with every clear, then sure. But it punishes you for trying out the mechanic.

People in the discord said the Activation Mediums start dropping at Day 9, Day 15 is just a guaranteed one
Yeah. Just don't know anyone that's had one drop before 15 or even reach 15

Ingame it says it can drop on day 7 but I've done day 7 like 8 times and so far no luck.
First character into the league, new player, how do you even get Intel? I have 0 and already did 5 tries in Day 1...
Intel drops from the chest at the end of every second day. Not much drops early

Indeed. Permanent server has a ruined trade house, so everything is super expensive. But if you don't mind not trading, do whatever is fun

Yeah. Nightmare was good, because you did a nightmare every 5-7 maps. Not every 25-33 maps
