  • Officially, Matt Damon had his cameo cut from "Ocean’s Eight" for story reasons. Unofficially? His relationship with a certain disgraced producer could have had something to do with it.

Do you think any of these sequels ended up being better with these replacements?

I wish the narrator had mentioned that on the first Mad Max film, Mel Gibson's voice was dubbed for American theaters due to his thick Australian accent. You actually hear him on the future ones. There was no real reason to mention Mel's personal problems because he had already said years prior that he wouldn't be going back to the role due to his age.

Don't forget that Mad Mel never took up Australian citizenship, plus he's insane.

I'll never forgive Peter Jackson for cutting Lee's scene from "The Return of the King", it was such an important scene!!

I bought the extended versions of all three lord of the ring movies. So, I did see Christopher Lee's scenes in the return of the king. They even show the comment he made about it.

About the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. I have seen both versions. I watched the American movie first, I had always thought I was missing something every time I saw it, but I couldn't figure out why. I watched it several times.
I then saw the original European version and Wow ! Now I knew why the American version bothered me so much. It had gone more by the book. Seriously, the American one took one of the reasons they were doing research on the dead girls in the first place. That and towards the end, you find out 2 other major plot lines that tie everything together. Now, the acting is great in both movies, but for a great thriller, hands down, the European version is the better one.

Saruman and Worm Tongue should have been included in The Return of The King if they had followed the novels. They should have been in the end of the movie for Bilbo and crew to defeat upon returning to The Shire.

Yes, indeed. I was the last in my family to read Lord of the Rings. When we went to see the films, I didn't understand why my family was upset over them, not showing what happened after Saurman and Worm were captured, even if you hadn't read the books you still would have wondered what happened to them.
There was the part about what happened to the shire. Peter Jackson gave us an almost happy ending. The shire didn't get off that easily. You saw a glimpse of what happened when Frodo looked into the waters 💧, but you never see it again. Interesting.

Crispin Glover missed the tread It wasn’t money that made happy ending but George actually standing up for his love ones and having pride in himself. The original George McFly was more interested in the TV then her. Lorraine was so depressed at the beginning and drunk. They weren’t too far from a tragic end

Shame for Terrence Howard. I understand for Edward Norton. I think Akec Boldwin replace went great. Bil Murray arguement was ok ended. It was unfair what happened to Billy Dee Wiliams. But I understand. It went well for Evan Petters

Matt Damon wasn't replaced he just ruined his career with unacceptable comments about one of the worst people in Hollywood.
Crispin Glover is funny though money isn't everything but don't you dare pay me less.😅

Norton tried to take over the production, it had nothing to do with getting credit. He has a history of trying to rewrite the script to suit himself, over the other actors, and being difficult or holding the production hostage.

Terrance Howard is doing fine, Ed Norton is doing fine, but I feel really bad for Rachelle Lefevre, even though I never saw Twilight and don't plan too, I've heard and seen Bryce Dallas Howard in other movies... Yet never heard of this actress, and this was probably her chance at a big break.

If your boss tells you you’re guaranteed 8 million then tells you later, “we’re gonna give you one million instead”
Don’t act like you wouldn’t be mad and refuse to do the movie. You don’t play with nobody’s money. If they did the same thing to Chris Evans or Scarlett Johansson, I promise you will have a different Captain America and black widow. 💯
It’s amazing to me how people want to unfairly criticized someone when it’s someone they apparently don’t like.

I find it funny but yet not surprising at all this racist channel says Terrence Howard is difficult to work with but no mention of Bill Murray being notoriously difficult to work with. And where is the proof of Terrence Howard being difficult to work with? Meanwhile, from Charlie’s Angels to his constantly refusing and holding up production for the Ghostbusters sequels is just a few points of WHY Bill Murray deserves that tag far more than Terrence Howard.
