Great review as always Axel. The Steinhart appears very good value for money 👍👍🇩🇪

Is the NH35 a good moment I don't know very much about watch movements what about the ETA ?

What in addition to what I said in the video would you like to hear? NH35 ist Seiko entry level which I do not like. ETA is a good standard movement.

@@Watch-Maxe_En Thank you for getting back - I have a few watches with the NH35 and NH36 was just wondering if they are good movements ?

They are strong, reliable, but have a wide spread when it come to accuracy. It’s more a truck kind of movement rather than a Porsche or Ferrari.

@@Watch-Maxe_En I have two watches with the NH35 movement, but they are the most inaccurate watches I own. ETA 2824 movements are very accurate.

this is a no-brainer! the steinhart is a quality watch with a much better movement, which ever one you get. i have the "kermit" version and was hesitant to purchase it because of the whole hommage contraversy. this watch has a great value proposition. looking at it subjectively it should sell for much more compared to watches with similar specs and quality. i recently purchased a rolex sub no date and enjoy wearing both of these watches. as stated in the video the seiko NH35 movement is a good but low-end movement is many microbrands and cheaper watches.

Thanks a lot - I had (and sold) a 114060, now I bought the pre owned Steinhart. Do I need to say more?

Hallo Axel, a few days ago in Montenegro I saw fake Rolex, Omega and Tag Heuer watches for €350.00! The seller could only tell me that the movements were "Swiss". But at least they had Rolex on the dial!
If I was buying in this price range I'd prefer a Laco with a Miyota movement or a Citizen Ecodrive model. I prefer their honesty over the pretence of the two watches here. Sorry Axel, but I'm just not a fan of "pretend" or "homage" watches. Cheers, Bob 🍻🥨

Fair enough. As long as it is not a 1:1 copy and / or Rolex (…) labeled and does not violate any existing protected rights, I am fine. But in case you are looking for a iconic watch upgrade in this price range, I recommend the Citizen NY0140 (tomorrow 16:00 CEST on www.youtube.com/@Baumie )

Although Gigandet look nice, I am not a big fan of its meaty proportions. At the same time I somehow do not like the crown guards on these. Endlinks look also like half way there in comparison to Steinharts. Steiny in here do look bit more refined and pronnounced...

That‘s typical fritz stuff. Nothing to worry about.
