We’ve also got them. They now come in 2 chair diameters and we ordered the wrong ones to start but they were swapped without question. Work great. Lightweight and fit into the chair pouch. Recommended by us anyway.
I do not understand why the manufacturers have not sorted this out. The Helinox ground chair seems to have a more stable base ( not sure if this a good all round base or not)as you have demonstrated an outdoor chair is very rarely going to be on flat and stable ground. Subscribed 🙏
Very thorough and entertaining review! The fact that Chair Buddies does not have their project manufactured by Chinese communist slave labor is a major plus for me, and definitely worth paying a little more for.
@@Paglingniyalan You will love it, I bought me a second set of buddies they work great actually my friends from motorcycle club stated buying because they saw they actually work in sand or dirt no matter the ground they actually work great
Hi Gijs, i have a chair zero...how do the chair buddies compare to the helinox ground sheet? You don't mention that product in your review. Would have liked a comparison between the two
Arjen, You are not the only one asking this and some mention tennis balls. I don't own a Helinox Groundfloor but I tried it once in the past. It is fine on sand but mesh is not a mud lover. In a tent the weight is still pushed to a small surface: the triangle in which the feet rest. And it is about € 30/35. Then there are the Helinox Balls. They are round, sink a little in the ground and that is logical since they are... round not flat. Also with max 55 mm they are not as wide as the 70 mm flat Buddies. They retail for about € 30/35. Tennis balls are bigger, cut a hole in them and they will work in sand, but will get dirty in mud. Also packing them is not that easy. Before you put the leg in a tennis ball... remove the rubber tip or it will get stuck in the ball and remain there. Tennis balls are cheap. Why did I not mention this? Well this is also almost a new video... and I hardly do 1 on 1 tests or comparissons because it leaves a lot of questions and answers open and is hellish to do on video all by myself. Does this answer your question a bit? Enjoy the Outdoors and Stay Safe! Ciao Ciao, Gijs
Where can I purchase these? They are not available on Amazon. Also, I reside in the US so I would preferably like to order without shipping overseas. Thanks!
Hi Troop, The link should be in de description and in the article on my website.... bit.ly/3muLKyA. Does this help? Enjoy the Outdoors and Stay Safe! Cheers, Gijs
Extra 150 grams, € 22,- , extra space, thinking about not losing.. where is it when you want it? ... not for backpackers, choosing your sitting place better, in reality do you have this as a real problem so often?
Hoi Onno, 5X no problem. In wet grass or sand... a lot. But... I never take a chair in my backpack. I have a seat pad. Enjoy the Outdoors and Stay Safe! Cheers, Gijs
Hi Rick, It can be even shorter 😉. If you took the time to read the discription you would have found this sentence: 🔴 Direct to my verdict 08:49 That is way shorter than 3 minutes. BTW... If you don't like what I do - waffling and writing in capitols - you don't have to watch it. Challenge for you: make a better video of your own so I can have a example and comment on that. ➡I am very curious about your experiences. So if you bought them: share your thoughts!😀
Just can say they are great and work really good
