Man, E. Gadd is so helpful, not annoying, and only calls you when it's important. I'm SURE sequels won't ruin his character and make a lot of "E. Gadd is evil" theories... right? RIGHT?!
E. Gadd isn't evil. I'd say more so morally grey. Like, he doesn't care about doing good or evil as long as he can experiment and do his research. For example, in Sunshine, Bowser Jr. says that the paintbrush was given to him by E. Gadd (well he doesn't say E. Gadd, but we know it's him). Basically what I think E. Gadd did is that he gave the paintbrush to Bowser Jr. and F.L.U.D.D to the Piantas. He created both a problem and its solution at the same time in order to test his inventions in a real situation and see the way things would turn out. But of course he isn't fully evil and still helps when needed and also does his research in ways that help the people. I think that makes him a very interesting character, with a more complex sense of morality than any other mainline Mario character.
My favorite part is the very first cutscene when Luigi is walking up to the mansion. The tension and suspense of him slowly walking up the stairs with the music creeping up with each step is just perfection for setting the mood
If you go to the Bottom of the Well during the Blackout, King Boo disappears, the lights temporarily turn back on for Mario's cutscene, and turn off again when it ends. In the 3DS version, this cinematic doesn't reappear during the blackout.
There's one cutscene missing. At 24:59 there's a cutscene that exists stopping you from reaching The Balcony if you have less than 20 Boos. A more transparent Boo called "The mysterious power of the Boos" appears and blows you back to the Foyer. Similar to King Boo's cutscene at 31:38.
24:18 Can we talk about the fact Bowser is supposedly Dead? Also, King Boo, a ghost who's debut is this game, says something about "troubles in the past" from Mario... and uses Bowser's body to fight Luigi... it can't be, can it? Was King Boo suppose to be dead Bowser?
That ending is priceless when Luigi sees mario again
He's crying tears of joy.
finally someone who actually shows ALL the cutscenes here.
I know, right?

@@Oceane1803 wow I never thought of that before?
@@troypreston1998 Yeah a lot of people don't think about that. Even I didn't really think about it that way for a long time.

Can we talk about how amazing the soundtrack is?

17:23 is that the only time Mario has ever talked through text dialogue?

Yes Mario kills him and then comes back to life in super Mario for the Wii or ds (I don't remember well)
But king boo is not bowser
@@redskeleton1541 Probably not but for all we know, making them separate might have been a retcon.
Bowser is actually robotic suit for King Boo
38:55# That laugh never get old!

Anyone else always think that first doorknob Luigi turns in the mansion looked like a watermelon?
38:48 Did Luigi laughs at Mario when he is dizzy?
Cause he thought that was funny
That and judging by the tear drop. He’s crying with joy.
