the ramp seen in the middle of the track seen on the 7, 8 and 8 deluxe remakes of the SNES rainbow road are used for a shortcut if you can land on the road after using it
N64 has to have my personal favorite Rainbow Road. I don’t care it takes six minutes to complete but it’s the nostalgia of playing Mario Kart 64 with my older brother and cousins at my house is the reason why it’s my favorite

For Mario Kart Arcade GP rainbow downhill was so long that you only need 2 laps to beat it. Couldn’t they have done that for N64 Rainbow road instead of 1 lap? And 112th.
