I have had great luck spraying it with PB blaster and letting it sit overnight. I then tighten it down trying to get it to move when I tighten it down. If that doesn’t slightly free it. Place a long socket over the shaft that’s bigger then the shaft so it sits on the steering wheel base and hit it with a hammer a few times and try lifting and repeat.
Also instead of buying one you can rent them from auto parts store. They usually have a few to chose from and you can go from there. A two prong puller with long arms is usually enough to do it
I don’t have the part # but you can reference yours by looking at the helm piece. It should have a model number stamped into the plastic housing or on the rear side under the console. However for the most part it is a standard “quad seal”
Where did you notice the leaking from that seal?
@@bobn7525 on the bottom edge of the seal it was leaking down the helm notice a small drip down the fiberglass portion of the console
Outstanding Boats
Perfect
Can you recommend which steering wheel puller you used please? I don't want to buy the wrong one on Amazon. THANK YOU

Do you have a part # for the original Sea Star seal please or where you bought it from? Any advice for getting steering wheel off? Thanks
