I always liked the U.S Army special forces motto of "De Oppresso Liber" for TNO since it's to free the oppressed.
Looks like a motto for the unit that will 'completely lose its combat capability' for the sake of advancing the front for 3 miles

I love how this song manages to capture a melancholy to it. It's a victory, Europe and the world is finally freed of the monsters. A victory needed, one that is a victory for all mankind and yet, yet it should never have gone this far.
It's the relief of a victory over a foe, knowing that some of the injuries its maimed on mankind can never truly heal. The very world has been corrupted, nature savaged, families and entire generations exterminated.
But the nightmare is finally over.
Personally I always play factions fighting against the nazis in TNO, even in our timeline they where monsters. In this one they got the chance to show their true evil.

Perfect timing, the moment i read he wasn’t coming back the last note of the music played. Incredible.
He died to destroy the greatest evil the world had ever seen. While it may not provide you much solace on dark nights, his death ensures that freedom and democracy endures.
*in the head of the army man: "only have 10 left to go until I get to finally go home and rest"* showing that to him they're only statistics and he didn't feel sad for these widows that their husbands have died it only shows that they're selfish and they don't really care if people die or not.
It's admirable that the theme gives off the feeling of an exhausted victory.
to defy the odds and align Italy, Liberate France, Destabilise Burgundy, win the SAW, Reunite and integrate Russia into the OFN and perhaps, eventually show Japan and Germany the error of their ways no matter the cost or threat of the end, it feels like a deeply needed sigh of relief.

you may ask "but at what cost" and I say a cost well worth paying, Johnny won't be coming home but he died with a dream of a better future, let us remember the sacrifices he made and build a better world together.
At tremendous cost, but the cost of standing by and doing nothing would have been catastrophically worse.
This feels like the song that would play at the ending of a long running series where all the characters have died except for one while saving the multiverse from the ultimate evil and the single survivor is narrating about all the good changes that have come after stopping the ultimate evil

I haven't played HOI4 in a while, I've never even _touched_ TNO, and yet this managed to make me tear up. That chord at 2:00 absolutely sends me.
I don't know if the other comments below are referring an established in-universe story, but it just _seems_ right to me. This isn't vaporwave because of the aesthetic, this is vaporwave because there are too many tears in your eyes and not enough blood in your body for your vision to be straight as you lay back against the wall after planting that flag and die from the wounds you sustained in getting there.

i belive this theme would fit more for a defeating zombies theme than for tno, for tno i think it should be something sadder, wrather than the triumph of the army, the price that was payed, but for a zombie defeat it would really fit because it gives the feeling of triumphant victory against all odds

And full state control of media leads to them lying to us about economy, inflation, corruption, politics, justice, polls, elections, free speech, course of the war, and people who openly opposed the government. Please *HOLD ONTO DEMOCRACY, NO MATTER HOW APPEALING ALTERNATIVES ARE, IT'S FOR THE BETTER WORLD*

America's and Europe's system is much MUCH better than authoritarian Regimes nowdays. A system where you must work to get something, system where you get fines even if your dog shitted, but also system where there is no jails for 15-20 years for mourning and protests, where PEOPLE decide fate of country.
Your system may not be perfect but it is MUCH better than authoritarian systems now
